Stoner Posted April 4, 2017 Author Report Posted April 4, 2017 Yep. It still didn't sound like a reporter going live to me, though. It did sound like someone thinking he was not going to live, though. Quote
darksabre Posted April 4, 2017 Report Posted April 4, 2017 Yep. It still didn't sound like a reporter going live to me, though. That's fine. Your choice. But we don't have anything else to go on, and we KNOW our media would report "locker room turmoil" if they witnessed it. They're not under gag orders, most of them don't have any special privileges with the team that they could lose, sooo... Where's deep throat with the scoop? Quote

It's never the crime, it's always the coverup. Remember that. And follow the money. Do you know how much a good bottle of Scotch costs? What about an edible arrangement from Mighty Taco? (GoDD would have nailed that better than I did. I couldn't make it naughty enough. Consider it an homage.) Quote
That Aud Smell Posted April 4, 2017 Report Posted April 4, 2017 The argument here seems to be that the media would have reported on other media doing something weird, but that they wouldn't report on the players doing something weird because coverup? That doesn't square. Our media would report on any little nugget of Sabres turmoil they could get their paws on just to make themselves relevant. They're vultures. So it's very obvious there's nothing to see here except that something inconsequential happened in the background. This is what strains my ability to even entertain that there's anything here. If the media had indications that the ruckus were from the Sabres locker room, they would be all over it. All. Over. It. They would be racing each other to post hot takes on the subject. Those folks practically subsist on the slightest hint of human misery And yet every member of the media who's been asked to speak, and has spoken, to the noise/sound has come back with mundane, boring explanations. There's no cover up. There's no scotch. There's no Mighty Taco pu pu platter. Quote

Claude Balls Posted April 4, 2017 Report Posted April 4, 2017 They do have all those metal trash cans in the middle of the locker room you always see in between periods. Maybe someone picked one up and chucked it. Coulda been Bogo, when he gets pissed he loses his . Quote

Two or less Posted April 5, 2017 Report Posted April 5, 2017 Yep. It still didn't sound like a reporter going live to me, though. Jonathan Kozial said it was Islanders players being rowdy. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted April 5, 2017 Report Posted April 5, 2017 Jonathan Kozial said it was Islanders players being rowdy. Is that anything like Brian Koziol from WGR? (Only reason I know his name is he used to be my HS math teacher) Quote
