Taro T Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Does anyone know how the league plans to count shootout goals in the individual player stats? Will goals count as regular goals, or will they go into a different category? Also, how will goals against be charged to individual goalies? Think Gretzky would have broken 100 if he'd of had the chance to end Edmonton's 15 tie games back in '81-'82? Dave.
Shorty Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Stolen from a friend on another forum... None of the shooters goals or netminders saves will count in individual stats. If a 3-3 game is decided by a shootout, the final score will be 4-3, but no winning goal is recognized and an extra goal only counts against the losing clubs team total, not the individual keeper, the same as an empty net goal.
