WildCard Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 With 9 games left, Eichel sits at 21-29-50 for the season, 52 games played. Last season he had 24-32-56 on the year with 81 games played. So, will Jack get 7 points in 9 games to beat his rookie season? Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Man, with those numbers, you just wonder where he'd be without zemgus taking him down Quote

Mustache of God Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 In 52 games Eichel has 50 points...which clocks him in at .96 points per game. If he keeps that pace for the last 9 games he'll have 8.64 points. I vote YES. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 There should be no doubt. Eich will be (is?) a great player. One to build your team around. Still not as good as Matthews What's with the negative waves, man? Quote
Swedesessed Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Still not as good as Matthews Matthews parted Lake Ontario I hear Quote
Randall Flagg Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 He's also not better than Marner, according to Leafs fans. Their evidence - Marner has 56 points in 66 games this year. In their eyes, he beats Jack's rookie year totals. What they ignore is that the two players are from the SAME draft - meaning Jack had his 56 points while Marner couldn't make the NHL, and then is handily beating Marner's PPG this year as well. But facts don't matter to Leafs fans. I also wish I had the link to all the Wings fans saying they wouldn't trade Larkin for Jack last season. Quote
MattPie Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 (edited) Matthews parted Lake Ontario I hear Turns out Matthews refers to his hair as Lake Ontario. M-x grammar-nazi-mode Jack *can* break is record with a 7 point night. Whether Jack *will* break his record this season is another question. The two people that voted "No" are patently wrong. Randall Flagg Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 It'd be amazing if he could get 10 points in his last 9, to hit 60 on the year. Quote
pi2000 Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 I choose no.... and here's why: Because I'm always right. Quote
R_Dudley Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 I choose Yes. I say 8 more points. I'm looking for it to go something like this for the rest of the season. 2 points tonight, 1 against TO, 1 against Florida and 0 at Columbus, 1 against Islanders, 2 against TO/Matthews and 1 against Montreal, than vacation starts early with 0's in last two in Florida. That Aud Smell Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 If young Eichel were to gather enough Ginos and Apples so as to finish the season with > 1 PPG, I swear: It'll move. Quote
mjd1001 Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 And Matthews 7 game no point streak?? As of this moment, this seasons basic stats projected over a full 82 games: Matthews, 37 goals, 29 assists over 82 games... Eichel, 33 goals, 46 assists... McDavid, 28 goals, 65 assists, Laine, 42 goals, 35 assists Quote
