Eleven Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Detroit announcers: Risto always roughs up the Wings; time to get into his face. Also, he'll be a stud on the Buffalo blue line for "a long time to come." Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Sloppy defense in their own end. Familiar refrain. Quote
Trettioåtta Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Its quite nice being the team the national guys support. They're just shitting all over Detroit Quote
Norcal Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Its quite nice being the team the national guys support. They're just shitting all over Detroitit's weird though, right? Quote
3putt Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Samson needs to get stronger on his skates to play C. Gets knocked down an awful lot. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 21, 2017 Author Report Posted March 21, 2017 Your man, Risto. Sabres: :w00t: :w00t: Wings:  Quote
Trettioåtta Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 it's weird though, right? Very. But I could get used to it :p Quote

Trettioåtta Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Oh boy DB on tv I forgot about Lidstrom's final shot in the game 7. So close to tying it Quote
Brawndo Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 I want to know what True and Wild broke in reaction to the sight of DD lifting the cup. Quote
Trettioåtta Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 67 has been quite noticeable this game. In both positive and negative ways Nelson with a very lucky block that saved us a goal Quote
WildCard Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Eichel, Risto and Lehner having good games so far. Eichel has actually looked pretty special over last few games. Ennis wins most problematic. I want him to return to form - he would be perfect chipping in 50 odd points a season. How did he miss that shot though? Eichel has been special for the last 3 months. The best player in the league actually ;) Quote
Brawndo Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Eichel has been special for the last 3 months. The best player in the league actually ;) His Defensive Play has picked up dramatically as well Quote
Robviously Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Eichel has been special for the last 3 months. The best player in the league actually ;)Someone should let the Sabres beat writer for the Buffalo News know that. He was just on Twitter yesterday saying "every scout and GM" has told him Matthews is better. Quote
Trettioåtta Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Eichel has been special for the last 3 months. The best player in the league actually ;) I thought it was second :p His Defensive Play has picked up dramatically as well Yeah he has been a defensive force this game. I hope this keeps up Quote
Tondas Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 (edited) It's a stark reality of how bad our regular 3-6 D are when Austin can come in in his first NHL game and look just as good (maybe better) than 77, 47, and 4 have loked all year. Edited March 21, 2017 by Tondas Quote
SwampD Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 The NBC guys like the Sabres better tonight. It's weird. We're in the Winter Classic next year. NBC gets the hype machine rolling early. We really need a 5v5 goal. Quote
dudacek Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 My emotional investment is about as low as it can be for a Sabres game. I still quiver when Casey Nelson and the puck are in our end at the same time. Oldtimers, I need some help: Austin's big body and horrible feet are giving me huge deja vu. What vintage Sabre does he look like? Quote
