Norcal Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 So Jones bogs down in front of Gionta to interfere and Gio takes the penalty? Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Well if you read it carefully I wasn't pining for Nolan. I'm pining for a team that plays tough and gives a ######. This team doesn't. You should realize the difference. But apparently not But that's not what you wrote. Quote
3putt Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Mike Harrington, that you? Where is the production? The leadership? The presence? 11m for a faceoff man/ penalty killer is pretty steep. If that's Harringtons take, I may have to agree with him. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 IN MOULSON WE TRUST Sabres: :w00t: :w00t: Jackets:    Quote

Nitro60 Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Watching the Buffalo/Ottawa brawl highlights must have motivated the Sabres. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 That power play goal was only a matter of time. They Blue Jackets were panicked. I have felt a great disturbance in the Moulson.... Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 I think the Sabres watched Beyond Blue & Gold during the intermission and realized what bunch a crap they've been playing like compared to that team. Quote
3putt Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Maybe a good brawl would do this team some good. Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Hmmmmm. She's growing on me. :flirt: Like a barnacle? :P Quote

Billznut Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 You can't pine for those teams and laud their making of the playoffs all while excluding the coach. Thanks for playing, though.I think you're the one that's playing. But whatever. If you like a team that doesn't take the body consistently and play tough then that's on you. I'd prefer my team to be tougher to play against. If you're not going to win at least show maximum effort and abuse the other team. This team has done none of the above going on six years now. No winning and not enough effort. If you're good with that congrats. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Score shorthanded on these bastards. :death: Quote

If that's Harringtons take, I may have to agree with him. He's 22nd among centers in points per game at .78, ahead of names such as Kuznetsov, Johansen, Giroux, Bergeron. Toews is at .83. He's giving us 94% of Toews' production for 71% of the cap hit. 3rd best CF% on the team behind Reinhart and Moulson (lol easy minutes), 2nd best GF% (again, lol Moulson minutes). All while facing the toughest competition. And who cares about cash payout? The only thing fans should ever care about is cap hit. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Rob Ray must be reading SabreSpace down there between the benches. We'll know for sure if he starts talking about R2 units when talking about our two goals. Quote

Doohicksie Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Lehner is looking good tonight. AT least compared to Nilsson he is. Bailey is close, but not quite NHL-ready yet. Dang I thought that shot by ROR went in..... Come on guys....! Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Some very lackadaisical play behind our own net. One smart, crisp pass there would spring a nice rush against their 2 forecheckers, but we're sloppy with the passes. Quote
