See... this is how you finish teams when you have a 2-goal lead in third. You attack, force some turnovers, and break them.

Actually, when you have a 2 goal lead in the third you're supposed to give up three goals and lose.

Gotta love how inspirational his speech was, and how much it meant to the players that he believes in them so much he didn't trade anyone away cause, you know, we can do this!

Yay team!

In his defense, I think he may be watching the video replay screens under the bench.

Yeah, a guy searching to cover his lousy coaching with a technicality.

This just makes me sad. Been a Sabres fan since the early 70's. I'm 52. Just another season down the tubes.

We're kindred souls you and I. Same same sad old tale.

Only if it's in regulation, or to give up a goal on every shot in a shootout, though.

Does anybody know when was the last time Girgs has scored a goal.

I missed a few games of late but, the ones I did watch Girgs produced 0.

You'd think he'd be able to provide some secondary scoring, but neither he, Ennis, Bailey, Carrier, ... etc. has provided much of anything this season.

Nice. Pad the stats, Jack!  It's ok when you're getting mangled. (and as we progress it'll be good to pad those stats when crushing the enemy)
