So my brother is getting married in June. I'm the best man so I've been tasked with planning the bachelor party. I had some great ideas but they were poo poo'd by his fiance. (please spare me the Wtf, whipped, etc comments) They essentially want a Jack & Jill party

I've got great ideas for that as well, Casino, wine tour, to name a couple. Nope. I can't do that because her 17 year old niece is in the wedding party and she needs to be included.

So I've been looking for a one day one night activity to satisfy all of the bridezillas requirements. Anyone got any ideas? I've looked up concerts (may 19,20 weekend to no avail. Help!!!

Are you tied to that weekend you mentioned?

I'm getting married in June. For my bachelors party we're going to the March madness games in Buffalo. Round 2 is Saturday afternoon/night at KBC. March 16, 17, and 18 are the options. We got the whole fan experience thing for the 18th. Likely hitting up breweries beforehand and the local bars after.

Not sure if your brother is a sports guy or basketball fan. Or if it's too late notice to do March. But thought I'd throw it out there because I'm really excited about mine.

Well outside of a dozen women and a 17 year old girl, I don't see the problem

Can't recommend renting a cabin in the Adirondacks enough. I've done it for 3 bachelor parties, including a Jack and Jill one. Do it in Lake Placid. Very cheap, easy drive, and you can enjoy the day with the lake, falls, kayaking, etc, then Lake Placid at night is perfect for everyone. If you need help finding a place, I can give you the 3 I went to and tell you more. Seriously, it's perfect for this

They already picked out a cabin. Two nights required and most of us have small children we can't leave for that long. If you have a one nighter that would be perfect.

I glossed over the neice part and didn't put two and tow together that you'd have all the ladies too. So how many people total?

What would your days be? If you can only do one night, it's difficult because, I believe, you live in Rochester, and, with that many people, the drive is probably 6 hours. So if you left on a Saturday morning and stayed that night, you'd have to really leave at about 4am to enjoy anything, or 6am at the latest. I've done these trips, and it's a pain getting 7 guys in their 20s to do this.

Or, you can go up Friday, enjoy the night, and relax all day Saturday enjoying outside. That might technically be a 2 day rental though

Paintball, golf, laser tag? Maybe rent a pavilion in a park somewhere and have a party w games etc

Lasertron in Roch looks like it has batchelor party specials

Since it's a Jack and Jill, does the MOH have any ideas?

Last summer I had to plan a bachelor party around the brides wishes, so we did an all day thing. We started at the Firing Pin in Bergen, then went to Henrietta and hit Altitude trampoline park, mini golf, Lasertron, and Pole Position, with a meal somewhere in there. Don't know if you can use any of those activities.

Lasertron and Altitude are extremely accommodating.

Altitude? A trampoline parks sounds amazing. My birthday is in a week, I wanna do that

Highly recommend. Don't do their party package though. Just buy a frequent jumper card and split up the hours among your participants.

Not to be like a local Chamber of Commerce or anything but consider Corning, NY. 2.5-3 hours from Buffalo and lots to do for a 1 day visit.

(Edit: Just noticed Fairport below your avatar...even closer)

May 19-20 is one week before GlassFest which is pretty fun.

But other weekends you can visit the Corning Museum of Glass which is pretty great as well as the Rockwell Art Musuem which is a small but nice one. Make your own glass is super popular with women in my experience (and admittedly, is pretty fun):

Market Street is fun to visit, lots of shops, bars, restaurants, etc.

Just an idea. If interested I am local and could help with some stuff.

Girl opinion here. I suck at being a girly girl, so when I had to plan a bachelorette party, it was basically, ok, plan girly stuff I would never do and then throw them all into Lasertron. The guys ended up doing the same (well, they just smoked weed all day before lasertron), so it became a Jack/Jill.

Try to separate the herds if you can. Get in touch with MoH, say, yo, you plan a spa thing (mani/pedi, makeup/hair/brow stuff) with the chicks for a few hours, and then you take the guys to go do something y'all wanna do. Strip club, bar, whatever the hell. Then meetup at someplace like the places mentioned above- I can vouch that the Lasertron here in Henrietta is actually pretty adult- surprisingly full bar, appetizer to burger level food, and a whole coffee/gelato/truffle bar the girls can dig. And there's arcade games that come with your admission price.

I mean, if you're stuck with the whole pile and can't go for a weekend in the mountains and a joint brew or winery tour, might not be a bad way to go.

Bleh, planning this stuff is a headache. I might just skip a bachelorette party all together when the time comes. Good luck!
