Gorges' last remaining asset is supposed to be tying guys up and boxing out. He's too slow to do that now, Dion walked right through/past him. If 4 is in the top 6 next year Murray is such a piece of crap GM

I still think he's coached to do that. Redirect shots to specific areas. It is high risk low reward game planning. The stiff pads and distintict kicking motion trying to punt the puck to an area are the reason I say this.

He's not doing that though. Directing the puck to the corners makes sense. He's just spitting pucks out into the slot and getting his defenders all turned around trying to cover for him. It totally kills the team's ability to get out of its own way.
