Marvelo Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 (edited) Speaking about the Sabres and the Canucks, here's a documentary about Mike Robitaille. It's unbelieveable what happened to Mike. http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/episodes/40-years-of-the-fifth-estate/mike-robitaille-playing-hurt Edited February 12, 2017 by Marvelo Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 Worried about playing Lehner back to back. He got chased last time we did that. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 Worried about playing Lehner back to back. He got chased last time we did that. Most goalies do. It's flat-out stupid to do if you have a competent backup. Quote
inkman Posted February 12, 2017 Author Report Posted February 12, 2017 Most goalies do. It's flat-out stupid to do if you have a competent backup. If only the Sabres had someone who was in charge of telling who gets to play Quote
MODO Hockey Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhkE8O2e5REIf Markstrom has a good night we are doomed, imo a great goalie. Twins better have a night or we gonna have some problems. Hoping for a win! Quote

LTS Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 It's a boring ass Sunday in February Whose fault is that? ;) Truthfully, I would normally miss most afternoon weekend games because I'd be busy at youth hockey. Of course tonight our game starts at 6:10pm... so I'll be home just after puck drop. Quote

tom webster Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 If anyone's interested, I had someone drop off a couple of great aisle seats in section 118 I can't use. Would have to come to grand island to pick up. Quote

Don't you dare think about starting the other guy who has equally impressive stats." Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 A win tonight puts us 3 points back of a playoff spot. We won yesterday and since this team is wildly inconsistent I'm expecting them to absolutely ###### the bed tonight. Aside from that, I hope they shake that bug and come out strong. Disappointed you wont' see Miller in net tonight? Don't be! After the Sabres go up 4-0 midway through the 2nd he'll go in as relief and we'll all get a glimpse of the wtf miller wave in the 3rd. Go SABRES. He was pretty bad in Boston Saturday. Quote
Mig22 Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 At least Ristolainen had 7 PIM last night and only played 23:40 or so. He'll be (relatively) fresh. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 My two favorite teams face off. (As a kid watching Mogilny and Bure together was dynamite) I will definitely be watching this today! Excited! Hear, hear to that. I'm still sad they got rid of the tilted skate logo. But liking the Canucks or not, let's crush the 'nuckleheads tonight. Quote
Winston Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 My power is out. "Estimted Restoration" is 9:30pm. That's obviously a shot in the dark (no pun intended) based on average restoration times. But I'm very antsy right now, hoping it's back up in time for the game. Maybe the extra half hour before puck drop will be a blessing. Quote
nucci Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 Jack and Kane are finding some chemistry. Sam is underrated. Bailey has great speed, hope he can click with ROR on some give and go plays. Foligno is back where he should be and strong on the forecheck. Ennis needs to show some top 9 play. Falk and Fedun have been good in their 5-6 slots. Nilsson's time to shine Let's go Buffalo. By whom? He's 2nd on the team in scoring. My power is out. "Estimted Restoration" is 9:30pm. I could stream on my phone, just might go through a lot of data. Power is back on though! It was out for an hour and a half, but came back shortly after I posted. Now to get the ATT system to reboot. French Collection Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 By whom? He's 2nd on the team in scoring. By the media in every other market. It's all about Jack Eichel and the Sabres. You won't read anything about him on TSN or Sportsnet either. Quote
ParkMeadow Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 I saw the Canucks play in Boston yesterday. They'd have won, or at least gone to OT, but for two very soft goals given up by Ryan Miller. Too bad he's not playing tonight! He is far from an elite goalie any more - kind of sad to see. A couple of observations from that game: - Brandon Sutter is a stud. Strong on the puck and very heady - Bo Horvat is the real deal - The Sedins are still sublime - Canucks power play was awful; totally out of sync, and it had nothing to do with the Bruins' PK - Chris Tanev- meh. I don't understand all the calls to trade for him. Not physical and not a puck mover. He looked like JAG. To me, not worth giving up a lot for him. Go Sabres! Gotta beat your 1970 sibling franchise Quote
WildCard Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 Forgot all bout Tanev, good call. Gonna try and watch him tonight Quote
TheAud Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 I always thought of Tanev as the upgraded version of Pysyk. Sort of like a Lincoln to Pysyk's Ford. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 Jack has to hit Tyler there. Use the middle of the ice Quote
