WildCard Posted September 7, 2017 Author Report Posted September 7, 2017 J. Winston seemed to have fixed it. He had the same issue Darnold has... long loopy motion due to a heavy baseball background. https://www.fanragsports.com/nfl/improved-mechanics-allowing-jameis-winston-reach-next-level/ Looks the same to me, maybe slightly shorter This is just such a longer release IMO. Also, Darnold was sacked 6 times last year. Rosen was sacked 13 times last year, and 3 last game. Rosen also had the 2nd to worst running support in the entire country; think it was 127/128 last year Rosen >>>>>> Darnold
Randall Flagg Posted September 7, 2017 Report Posted September 7, 2017 I think the Jets have the potential to be second only to the 08 lions in terms of terrible teams this millennium.
WildCard Posted September 7, 2017 Author Report Posted September 7, 2017 I think the Jets have the potential to be second only to the 08 lions in terms of terrible teams this millennium. They're on track to have the largest spread in Vegas in NFl SB era history
MattPie Posted September 7, 2017 Report Posted September 7, 2017 FWIW, so random article (the Arena.com or something?) put Tyrod at #21 for NFL starters. I can't say I heartily disagree, although if there's an offense in place that makes use of his strengths he might move up some; I can't see better than #15, though.

Agreed. 21 is about right & absolute best case is probably ~12th. If he were 12th & the D plays the way they did in the preseason, it could be a playoff team. (Note the IF in that statement. 21st is far more likely.)
erickompositör72 Posted September 7, 2017 Report Posted September 7, 2017 It is true, it was Beane Definitely tempers all of the "start Peterman" talk (which I am embarrassed to admit I was almost buying into a little)
jeffismagic Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Great coaching on both sides as Belichick and Reid finding weaknesses to exploit.
Randall Flagg Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 ^Reid really is great. Did u guys know that Hogan played lacrosse???
jeffismagic Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Man, Touchdown Mike really looking like he is enjoying himself. Good to see Buffalo did their part and developed him for our rival.
nfreeman Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Man, Touchdown Mike really looking like he is enjoying himself. Good to see Buffalo did their part and developed him for our rival. That was another terrible move by Whaley.
JujuFish Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 That was another terrible move by Whaley. Yeah, if you think Whaley made that decision, you're a funny guy.
jeffismagic Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Well, I really am glad I got Kareem Hunt in the third round in my 14 team league. Yeah, if you think Whaley made that decision, you're a funny guy. Don't worry, we got the Tolldozer.
Randall Flagg Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 That was McDermott, no?I have to say, between the dialed back commercials, the good coaching, officiating, and execution happening, I'm thoroughly enjoying this game.
WildCard Posted September 8, 2017 Author Report Posted September 8, 2017 Letting Mike G was not the wrong move. Not taking advantage of the potential compensation by signing him for a couple more hundred thousand was
Randall Flagg Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 I'm not sure what's more obnoxious - the entire patriots team freaking out about flags every. single. play. that doesn't go their way, or the refs giving them to them. Smith just threw a ball further than 10 yards away. Of course it was Stephon  Chiefs pick is gonna be a couple dozen picks deep in the draft Good to know intentional grounding still applies to all NFL QBs except Tom
LGR4GM Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 It would be interesting if a certain RB did help the pats win this game... not ironic but interesting.
Randall Flagg Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Brady always starts slow, so I'm not saying it means anything, but I love seeing that 11/24, 156 yards.

Sometimes that bum Brady has reeeaaaly poor accuracy. Surprised KC didn't get called for knocking the RB down. /sarcasm (to a degree ;) )

That tells a lot about this great trade that and value that Sean was able to get back.

JujuFish Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Well, I really am glad I got Kareem Hunt in the third round in my 14 team league. Don't worry, we got the Tolldozer. Picked him up in the 6th round of a 10 team league and he's making me happy tonight.
jeffismagic Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Picked him up in the 6th round of a 10 team league and he's making me happy tonight. When did you draft?
JujuFish Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 When did you draft? 8th of 10, I think. So that'd be pick 53?
jeffismagic Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 8th of 10, I think. So that'd be pick 53? I mean when was the draft?
