jeffismagic Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 As long as the Super Bowl Winners employ this type of QB, that will be the norm. Russell Wilson says hi. And Brady drafted a million years ago. If the Bills draft an actual Brady I have no issue with it. My problem is pro style guys who can't play.
Randall Flagg Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Gimme Baker Mayfield It'd be so sick if this guy was taking the class I'm grading for, but I don't think he is

Not a chance in hell
ubkev Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 It'd be so sick if this guy was taking the class I'm grading for, but I don't think he is Ohhhh, that'd be some great scoop
jeffismagic Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 (edited) Tom Brady is not a pro style quarterback? Science? Not a chance in hell Brady is the quintessential pro-style QB. But how many QB's has Michigan produced since? My point was that times have changed and you can't eliminate spread QB's or you miss out on Dak Prescott, Marcus Mariotta, Derek Carr, and Pat Mahomes 2. Edited September 6, 2017 by jeffismagic
Randall Flagg Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Tom Brady is not a pro style quarterback? Science? Not a chance in hell It's astronomy but at a general level for non-majors. We make the assumption that these students haven't learned how to add numbers yet
WildCard Posted September 6, 2017 Author Report Posted September 6, 2017 It's astronomy but at a general level for non-majors. We make the assumption that these students haven't learned how to add numbers yet Might actually be the QB then

That said, I have no idea whether this duo is any good. Maybe they're not crap.

LGR4GM Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Gimme Baker Mayfield It is a solid QB name.
That Aud Smell Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 I don't think they're country. The guy was the guitarist for Matchbox 20. And she is stunningly beautiful. I think they are country. At least a little bit. Maybe a little bit rock and roll also. And, yes - she's a pretty lady. That will provide me with no solace if we get an pop-twangy anthem. It is a solid QB name. Yes! Okay - so I peeked at the duo's website. They don't appear to be country, per se. They're styled as roots rock/Americana. Of course, that's the way most of Nashville is headed now. Sort of like how Big Beer has co-opted the craft beer movement.

jeffismagic Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 He's also the outlier, not the norm The norm for what? Tom Brady was drafted 17 years ago. If you look at the best QB's from the last few drafts only Luck and Winston stand out as pro-style QB hits. And you had to have the #1 pick overall to get them. The QB values were found in spread QB's such as Derek Carr and Dak Prescott. Unless the Bills have the first pick overall they better start scouting ALL of the college QB's, not just ones who look like winners drafted 15 years ago.

jeffismagic Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 You should run the Bills Well, I am unqualified. But I do know a poorly run team when I see it.
Drunkard Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Well, I am unqualified. But I do know a poorly run team when I see it. Never mind your football credentials. Did you have any stories of succeeding in unrelated fields such as wrestling or bible camp?
Eleven Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Never mind your football credentials. Did you have any stories of succeeding in unrelated fields such as wrestling or bible camp? Dammit, Drunkard, please don't start this up again!
Wyldnwoody44 Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 I feel a fallout here in 3....2.....1.....
tom webster Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 By the way, Tim Graham, noted Bills' antagonist wrote a nice piece backing up my thoughts on Beane and staff he put together. Don't have the link but I'm sure you can find it. Also wrote about McDermott but I haven't read it yet.
jeffismagic Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Never mind your football credentials. Did you have any stories of succeeding in unrelated fields such as wrestling or bible camp? I was a wrestler in high school. That's why I can't stop bringing it up. ;)

jeffismagic Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Jello wrestling? Aww man, now I got my wheels upstairs going.... Time for ####hub I had this wrestling coach who would ask me if I had any SAT words for him. Yeah, IQ not a hot commodity on a high school wrestling team.
