Should I return my attention to the Bills this year?

My Sundays last fall were among the best inmore than a decade

I really don't think they're going to be any good.

We'll call you when they get a quarterback?

6-10 to 8-8, if it's 8-8, there will be a point in like week 14 where the Bills are "In the hunt" the NFL.com graphic will be posted on Twitter and various Bills message boards etc excitement will abound, then when all they have to do is beat the Dolphins in week 17 to make the playoffs, they will lose

That was me last year too.  Go outside each day, it's worth it.

Man Boldin was slow a decade ago. He's been slightly productive the last few years but I'm not holding out any hope that he'll do anything for the Bills. We better hope Zay Jones is the real deal and Rod Streeter is healthy and ready to make an impact.

1 year, $2.75M

Can only assume he came here over Miami for more reps

Will be the #2 WR here & if Watkins ends up having injury issues again is the #1 guy.

Was it the Boldin signing that broke TBD?

Haven't been able to access that site since ~10:30AM.

Championship

Joking aside, it's a good signing.

Or, like the rest of us, he learned Jay Cutler had signed there.

Boldin's been slow his entire career, and it hasn't mattered. Dude knows how to get open, make tough catches, and he's a hell of a blocker. He'll be a useful addition.

Boldin is a good replacement for Robert Woods. Unfortunately just like Robert Woods he'll probably be further up on the depth chart than he should be.

Woods is a very solid #2 receiver.

Yes, but with Watkins being made of glass he's had to play #1 far too often. Hopefully Boldin doesn't find himself in the same boat.

Yuck.  I think he's bottom-3rd in the NFL at the #2 WR slot.

Separately:  Boldin had 67 catches and 8 TDs last year.  That is pretty solid production and not indicative of someone who's fallen off the table.  He could be a really good addition.

He had the 2nd worst yards per catch of all WR last season. He averaged 36 yards per game. He's not going to make a difference.

yup.

He also lead their team receivers with 8 touchdowns. 3 more than anyone else on the Lions, and twice as much as anyone on the Bills
