That Aud Smell Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 I think that's fair. I just think if we're going to talk about the NFL being gross then we need to talk about the reasons why people play the game in spite of it. Fair. What's of more value in the market: The guaranteed money that, say, a starting cornerback can make, or a degree in accounting? And by "value," I'd want to account for the uncertainties or unlikelihood associated with obtaining either outcome. Still. I'm not smart enough to do that. We need an actuary or something. I think that's fair. Fair.
LGR4GM Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 I'm not saying Allen is the answer. I am saying he deserves to be evaluated as a potential 1st round pick. And I'm telling you he most certainly does not deserve 1st round considering. 2nd round sure.
LGR4GM Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 If you're drafting Allen you need a real vet qb for him to be behind at least 2 full seasons. He's not NFL ready
Eleven Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 Lotta suspensions handed out from yesterday http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21678678/juju-smith-schuster-pittsburgh-steelers-george-iloka-cincinnati-bengals-suspended-1-game/ All of this means there's NFW that Gronkowski's appeal succeeds.
Gramps Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 If you're drafting Allen you need a real vet qb for him to be behind at least 2 full seasons. He's not NFL ready He may be the only decent QB left when it's our turn to pick.
WildCard Posted December 5, 2017 Author Report Posted December 5, 2017 He may be the only decent QB left when it's our turn to pick. Jets, Giants, Browns all ahead of us and taking Qbs. It's gonna be a rough road unless we trade up
LGR4GM Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 He may be the only decent QB left when it's our turn to pick.that doesn't mean you give him a 1st round grade
ubkev Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 If you're drafting Allen you need a real vet qb for him to be behind at least 2 full seasons. He's not NFL ready That mother isn't Mountain West ready!!
Gramps Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 that doesn't mean you give him a 1st round grade Lots think he is a first rounder - guess we'll find out.
Eleven Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 That mother ###### isn't Mountain West ready!! Agreed.
LGR4GM Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 Lots think he is a first rounder - guess we'll find out. That's fine but he isn't for BuffaloIf 3 teams draft qbs b4 buffalo, there's still 2 qbs I think of before Allen
WildCard Posted December 5, 2017 Author Report Posted December 5, 2017 That's fine but he isn't for Buffalo If 3 teams draft qbs b4 buffalo, there's still 2 qbs I think of before Allen Fitzgerald and Jackson? The ESPN morons even have Allen ahead of Mayfield
Eleven Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 That's fine but he isn't for Buffalo If 3 teams draft qbs b4 buffalo, there's still 2 qbs I think of before Allen If three teams draft quarterbacks before Buffalo, there are still two quarterbacks and two ROUNDS before I think of Allen.
inkman Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 Yes. He has size and a baby arm canonfixed
WildCard Posted December 5, 2017 Author Report Posted December 5, 2017 (edited) Yes. He has size and an arm canon I know the reasons, I'm just saying he's not going to be the 6th one drafted. Ah didn't see the 'I' part of your post. nvm Edited December 5, 2017 by WildCard
Gramps Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 (edited) If three teams draft quarterbacks before Buffalo, there are still two quarterbacks and two ROUNDS before I think of Allen. You won't have to think of him then - he'll be gone. Edited December 5, 2017 by gramps
ubkev Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 You won't have to think of him then - he'll be gone. Thank God! Anyone remember Brock Osweiller? What about Ryan Mallet? Both of those guys corpses are better than Josh Allen.
Eleven Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 You won't have to think of him them - he'll be gone. Good. Then the Bills can draft a third-to-fifth round QB just where they should: in the third to fifth rounds.
Gramps Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 Thank God! Anyone remember Brock Osweiller? What about Ryan Mallet? Both of those guys corpses are better than Josh Allen. Wow ... sounds like you've been to a few Cowboy games and seen Allen up close and personal. Either that or he got your sister preggers. Good. Then the Bills can draft a third-to-fifth round QB just where they should: in the third to fifth rounds. Awesome ... Peterman the sequel. Who starts next year ?
Eleven Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 Wow ... sounds like you've been to a few Cowboy games and seen Allen up close and personal. Either that or he got your sister preggers. Awesome ... Peterman the sequel. Who starts next year ? Allen IS Peterman the sequel. Or worse. This way they're not using an inappropriate pick on him.
LGR4GM Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 (edited) Who starts next year? Mason Rudolph or Lamar Jackson I'd guess (I think baker Mayfield would be good but I wanna see more) Won't matter unless the offensive line improves Edited December 5, 2017 by LGR4GM
The Dominator Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 Haven't looked at the QB's closely yet, I usually save that for the long offseason. But for now I think my short-list of QBs for Buffalo would be Rosen/Darnold/Rudolph based on performance and what Beane said he looks for in a QB last offseason
WildCard Posted December 5, 2017 Author Report Posted December 5, 2017 Who starts next year? Mason Rudolph or Lamar Jackson I'd guess Won't matter unless the offensive line improves I hope not. Rosen is the only QB ready to start
JujuFish Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 More and more: No thanks. Don't mind me. Just popping in to mention that thumbs up, not thumbs down, was used to show disagreement in ancient Rome.
