WildCard
There is a reason that scouts tag some draftable QBs with size warnings even though there are anomalies like Wilson and Brees. And I do agree that tall QBs also move around at times to see the field better but the extra few inches does matter - would Brady be as good at 6'0" ? Would you rather have a John Elway/Brett Favre/Peyton Manning/Jim Kelly type as your franchise QB or someone 6'1" on paper and most likely shorter ? Would you rather have a Brock Osweiler/Joe Flacco/Nick Foles/Blake Bortles type as your franchise QB or someone who can actually play? Your post makes it sound like all great QBs are tall, or all tall Qbs are great. That's not true, those are the top 5 tallest QBs in the league today

I actually think he can play a bit. All other things being equal, I'll take someone 6'2" and above.
TrueBlueGED
As long as we're not talking about someone who is 5'2", nobody should care about an inch here or there. This isn't penis size. There was a reason I used those guys and not the ones you mentioned with the exception of Flacco. I actually think he can play a bit. Brady has won 5, mostly passing from the pocket and with limited mobility. Draft a taller guy with a great arm, build an offensive line to protect him, and get him some weapons. So you'll take Josh Allen over Baker Mayfield? A drastic example I know, but I think smaller guys can succeed, there's just not a lot of smaller players who play QB Edited December 4, 2017 by WildCard

Mayfield also played on a lot better team than Allen. And you are right, some smaller guys can succeed if the offense is built to their strong points a la Wilson. He's playing in the Mountain West and was being discussed as a potential #1 pick. He should throw for 700 yards every game.

Neo
Not sure if you are being facetious but he could have easily given him a neck injury (don't know if he didn't actually) and he Did give him a brain injury. It wasn't during play or some type of football move. It was assault. He drove his elbow, a 270 lbs man running and jumping, into the base of his skull. If TRE was my kid, I'd hunt down gronk and give him some justice. It was filthy and criminal. You complete me ...

That Aud Smell
FWIW. Pregame worship service to take place before Bills meet Dolphins Faithful who are also football fans have an invitation from organizers to gather from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the Ad Pro Sports Training Center, adjacent to the Bills stadium, for a nondenominational Christian service. http://buffalonews.com/2017/12/04/pregame-worship-service-to-take-place-before-bills-meet-dolphins/ +++ I've chirped plenty about this influence at OBD, but, in fairness, if the franchise finds its surrounding environs becoming known as a sort of modern Sodom and Gomorrah, it's probably appropriate to introduce some vibes on the other side of the ledger. LGR4GM
You mean like Carson Wentz ? But is Wentz the exception or the rule? Also Wentz never tossed 15 interceptions. He only threw 14 his entire college career if what I see is correct. I am just saying Allen doesn't pass the eye test at all and I would be hesitant to draft him in the first round. Just because you need a QB doesn't mean the one you target is a first round QB. The Bills need to be smart. I question Allen's decision making.
