JujuFish Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Let's see some signs of life here, please.
That Aud Smell Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Welp. Turnovers. The well ran dry.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Damn suicide pool..... I knew better, I really did. That O line is atrocious
That Aud Smell Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 It’s almost as if recovering fumbles is fairly random.
JujuFish Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 How is that not a dead play when O'Leary gave himself up? Should be Buffalo's ball.
MattPie Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 How is that not a dead play when O'Leary gave himself up? Should be Buffalo's ball. He wasn't touched. I'm not going to crucify the guy, but either stay down or play to whistle.
JujuFish Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 He wasn't touched. I'm not going to crucify the guy, but either stay down or play to whistle. You don't have to be touched. He fell to the ground and stopped trying to advance the ball, even almost dropping it, because he thought the play was over. Per the rule: An official shall declare dead ball and the down ended: (a) when a runner is out of bounds or declares himself down by falling to the ground and makes no effort to advance.

Per the rule: An official shall declare dead ball and the down ended: (a) when a runner is out of bounds or declares himself down by falling to the ground and makes no effort to advance. But he got back up and started running, so (a) doesn't apply. They look like Rex Ryan is behind the bench.

OK, I'm convinced. I've never seen that called though.
JujuFish Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 But he got back up and started running, so (a) doesn't apply. They look like Rex Ryan is behind the bench. He didn't do that until AFTER giving up. When his teammates were telling him to keep going. So it does apply.
Scottysabres Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 :D Never fails. Big game, Thursday night, bills fall to pieces. Never change bills, never change.
JujuFish Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Side note, this is the 4th season in a row that we've played a primetime game against the Jets.
Randall Flagg Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Sometimes in the NFL you smoke the Raiders at home and get smoked by the Jets on the road. This team had surprise wins against Denver, Atlanta, and Oakland. You knew they were going to lose a couple of these games.Still a win away from the best record in the drought.
MattPie Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Hey now, just because the Bills have looked terrible for 3/4 of the game, don't give up! I'm sure they'll pull this one out!
sodbuster Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Screw this, I gotta work in the morning.
MattPie Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Screw this, I gotta work in the morning. The Sabres are playing OK.
CallawaySabres Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 There was absolutely no way the bills could have kept winning the way they did with all those turnovers. The Mirage that is this team is about to come collapsing down and I would not be surprised if they lost the next four games
WildCard Posted November 3, 2017 Author Report Posted November 3, 2017 I'm in a glass case of emotions
inkman Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 they'll be fine. Umm yeah. By fine you mean their ridiculous unsustainable turnover ratio is finally coming back to Earth and they will perform as they should and lose more than they win, I agree. This was 100% foreseeable. I'm not one to pat myself on the back but the reasons why we're clearly laid out. I'm kinda hoping they lose out so they can get someone that makes a difference.

They've had a lot of turnovers, but in the games in recalling now it wasn't as if absurd luck with them had them beat the Jets, Falcons, Broncos. I can think of at least 5 turnovers that were meaningless in games that were already won. This stings but I'll take 5-3 through 8 all day long.
nfreeman Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 No pass rush, no pass protection, no running game, a million penalties, a dropped INT early, a fumble that cost them a FG before the half...that all spells ugly loss.
