Weave Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 What's the best place in Ellicottville not named Balloons to catch the game? We are road tripping to see alpacas and then fall fest. EBC?
JujuFish Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Oh boy, I hope it's not going to be one of those days.
erickompositör72 Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 It's ok. Tyrod plays better when he feels a sense of urgency
Randall Flagg Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Welp, if Clay is done, make a move for someone to catch the ball.
TrueBlueGED Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Oh boy, I hope it's not going to be one of those days. Wwwweeeeellllllppppppp. Welp, if Clay is done, make a move for someone to catch the ball. Indeed. Though, I'm not really sure who would be available right now.
Randall Flagg Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Have we had a long run not get called back for holding? At any point in the past 10 years? Beyond infuriating. That was an unbelievably incompetent result from that field position. Unacceptable. They need to fire sweeps into the sun, especially with Glenn out. It hasn't worked all year and Nate Hackett let it kill that critical drive.
JujuFish Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 That was an unbelievably incompetent result from that field position. Unacceptable. No kidding. This offense stinks against a team missing their starting corners.
Randall Flagg Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 No kidding. This offense stinks against a team missing their starting corners. I understand that we're missing our weapons too, but my problem was with the playcalling way more than the execution. The Bengals have been eating our tackles alive so let's lean on them on 2nd and 10 and a play that's failed all day, and it fails and loses 5 yards. Way to take control of that momentum. This OC is the worst part of this team and I'll continue to say that until he's gone.
darksabre Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Taylor completely blew that last series. He missed two open receivers on first down and took a sack instead, and that pretty much did it. Ugly.
CallawaySabres Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 It's a,shame this defense eill be wasted. Why not start Petermen off the bye and see what happens. I know, it will never happen
Eleven Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 I checked in to see if we were on Defcon 1 here. I'm not disappointed. Relax. You didn't see this team at 3-1 before today or at 3-2 after today. Admit it. This team is fun, and when healthy, it's actually ok.

Watching another 7-9/6-10 Jauronesque Bills team for the 18th straight season is not my idea of fun.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Does Dennison suck at play calling, or is our talent just not good enough to do much else? Also, Rogers pulls another magic ending out of his hat!
mjd1001 Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Does Dennison suck at play calling, or is our talent just not good enough to do much else? Also, Rogers pulls another magic ending out of his hat! I think it is the talent.
Randall Flagg Posted October 9, 2017 Report Posted October 9, 2017 Dennison has been bad but today everyone was hurt but TT and Shady.
Randall Flagg Posted October 9, 2017 Report Posted October 9, 2017 We gained 7 yards on 13 plays, combining our last three offensive series.
shotgunner Posted October 9, 2017 Report Posted October 9, 2017 Does Dennison suck at play calling, or is our talent just not good enough to do much else? Also, Rogers pulls another magic ending out of his hat! Dennison is OK I think... Tyrod is limited in what he can do, and holds the ball too long. Shady flashes, but is starting to look old or O-line forgot how to be good. I'm 31 and 300 lbs and could probably walk on as WR right now. No TE's now that Clay is done for at least a while. Aaaand, Kaelin Clay... So Dennison might suck, but it's impossible to know right now. He has been successful before, however; so I give benefit of the doubt for the moment.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 9, 2017 Report Posted October 9, 2017 I get that, I didn't watch today, but based on what I've seen, we just don't have the pieces, I'm willing to let wrestle mania and CO a year or so to stock pile some O pieces
Randall Flagg Posted October 10, 2017 Report Posted October 10, 2017 McCoy has 3.2 yards per carry this year, but he certainly doesn't look old and washed up. His lanes aren't there. They've completely ditched the blocking schemes and run plays that had them the #1 rushing offense two years in a row, in favor of sweeps for Tolbert that lose 5 yards every single time.

Hence why I ditched him in my fantasy league.
Eleven Posted October 10, 2017 Report Posted October 10, 2017 Adrian Peterson has been demoted from Saint to Cardinal.
WildCard Posted October 10, 2017 Author Report Posted October 10, 2017 Adrian Peterson has been demoted from Saint to Cardinal.Well played
Winston Posted October 10, 2017 Report Posted October 10, 2017 Well played Indeed! I have to imagine this is the first time a team has rostered two former 2000 yard rushers in the same season. Of course they cut one to make room for another. But that’ll end up a bit of interesting trivia someday, maybe.
Randall Flagg Posted October 12, 2017 Report Posted October 12, 2017 I read on TBD that before last weekend, 300 yard QBs were 16-14 in the games they threw that many, and 100 yard RBs were 17-1 in the games where they ran for that many.
