darksabre Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Wooooooo! We need to fix the right side of the line. Jets destroying it whenever we try to run there. TT is learning - he's climbing into the pocket before scrambling. He'll never be the franchise pocket qb but as long as he can still run he is a legitimate NFL weapon for some team. d4rk, I've heard the train twice now. But not on third down. Dammit now I hear it.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Concerned about the pass rush.Have we blitzed much? I see a 4 man rush most of the time without much pressure
Randall Flagg Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 I wish there was a way to get Dareus off the team. On that 4th and goal he ended up being pushed 3 yards back.
darksabre Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 McCoy hurt would be season ending.
WildCard Posted September 10, 2017 Author Report Posted September 10, 2017 McCoy hurt would be season ending. For my fantasy team
jeffismagic Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Good thing that McDermott has a great #2 running back ready to roll. Mike Tolbert time.
Randall Flagg Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 I mean, if it's his hand he's holding that's good news no? Way better than a knee or something?
darksabre Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 I mean, if it's his hand he's holding that's good news no? Way better than a knee or something? Dude catches a lot of balls. Needs his hands too.
Randall Flagg Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 He's sitting with the boys on the bench and not going to the dressing room, that's a good thing. 3rd down D has been soft. Tre White has had a good first game so far. There's a nice stop. Team looks...well coached... so far. This announcer's voice got more excited for a Jets punt than for any of the Bills touchdowns.

If the Bills close this out, I don't know if I'll say it was well coached, but we haven't been embarrassing and the discipline has been good. Would like to be winning by more though. We're still thoroughly average.

Would like to be winning by more though. We're still thoroughly average. I would take thoroughly average with 6 picks in the first 3 rounds. That's a pick. Poyer is good. Mediocre play calls there. Who was it that was really into Shaq Lawson? He hasn't impressed me. The line has been very good against the run but I'm super bummed about the pass rush. I blame Marcel.
jeffismagic Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Jets look on their way to the #1 pick. Bills a little better but the problem is Bills have a much older team. I expect teams like the Jets and Browns to pass the Bills in the next 2 years.
darksabre Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 So this game was probably the best case scenario right? Is there any reason to think this team can play better?
jeffismagic Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 So this game was probably the best case scenario right? Is there any reason to think this team can play better? Too early to say. Bills D never really tested. Let's see what a real QB does against Buffalo over the next few weeks. Dennison, as I expected, very conservative. That's fine when you play the Jets but much more is needed against teams with actual weapons.
Randall Flagg Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 I enjoyed that. Don't have high hopes about the rest of the season, but this week has been perfection for a Bills fan. Nice to not see flags every other play, and did we ever have to use a timeout?
Thorner Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) Colts score what would have been a TD had they bothered to review it, but they didn't bother, then got goal line stuffed on downs 1, 2, and 3. That's just garbage game management. Feel a bit for Tolzien. Edited September 10, 2017 by Thorny
Taro T Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Goodwin just had a sure TD drop between his arms. He had both arms completely around a ball that was 2" from his chest & he didn't touch it at all. Good to see that some things never change.
Randall Flagg Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 I take back my Tolbert take-back. Once the Jets realized we weren't always going to pass when he came in he was brutal.

Thorner Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Russell Wilson doing his best to remind everyone that he's not actually that good today
Randall Flagg Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 The Browns have the 1st and 2nd round picks of the Texans, who looked like puke today. Browns might well draft themselves into having a good team at some point.

Thorner Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Real stinker between the Packers and Seahawks going on right now.
jeffismagic Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Real stinker between the Packers and Seahawks going on right now. Rodgers looks rusty. Holding on to the ball way too long.
Thorner Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Rodgers looks rusty. Holding on to the ball way too long. It's very early, but his escapability looks very diminished. He's supposed to be healthy, so that's concerning. Big part of his game. Legs getting older? We shall see.
