GASabresIUFAN Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 As a lifelong Bills fan and at Atlanta resident, I despise the Pats and am rooting for the Falcons with all my heart. I hope everyone here is doing the same. After all aren't you sick of watching the Pats and Brady win? Quote
Winston Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 We're having a Super Bowl lunch and blowing off the afternoon at work. I'm in charge of coordinating and communication. I sent out an email inviting people to wear their favorite NFL jersey. But I included the disclaimer: if you show up in Patriots gear, I will personally hold it against you forever. This email even went to our CEO. Yeah, I hate the Pats :P Quote
GoPre Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 What Bills fan would pull for the Pats in the Super Bowl? Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted February 3, 2017 Author Report Posted February 3, 2017 I've heard the Gronk is from Buffalo or AFC pride or I'm just hoping for a good game B.S. Quote
GoPre Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 If it wasn't the Pats, Id pull for the AFC team. But w/ the amount of dislike I have for New England, especially Brady and Bellicheat, I'd never pull for them. Even if the Pats were playing the Cowboys. Quote
Drunkard Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 (edited) I'd root for ISIS over Boston. The only time rooting for anything Boston is acceptable is rooting for them to die in a fire or be stricten with AIDS. Edited February 3, 2017 by Drunkard Quote
inkman Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I've heard the Gronk is from Buffalo or AFC pride or I'm just hoping for a good game B.S. These people are soulless. Quote
Mustache of God Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I am personally abstaining from the game based upon the following logic: 1. I will never, ever, ever root for the Pats which by default would give me interest in rooting for Atlanta 2. Every time I root for a team to win a championship (or any big game really), they lose. 3. If I root for Atlanta then the Patriots win. 4. the Patriots. 5. If I don't watch, Atlanta has a chance to win. I've also reached a point in my life where I don't enjoy watching football unless it's the Bills and even that's becoming a stretch. Quote
woods-racer Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 Just to much of a carni show with a bad product between commercials. If I wake up Monday morning and hear that Atlanta has won I would be happier than if they didn't, but still won't effect my day either way. Quote
MattPie Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I can get behind this I'm rooting for my neighbor's party to have some good beer and food. Quote
Norcal Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I'm rooting for my neighbor's party to have some good beer and food.i got that covered, along with some prop bets and other party necessities, should be a good time Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I'd root for ISIS over Boston. The only time rooting for anything Boston is acceptable is rooting for them to die in a fire or be stricten with AIDS. What a horrible thing to say. Oh, Atlanta is going to win. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I'm rooting for my neighbor's party to have some good beer and food. i got that covered, along with some prop bets and other party necessities, should be a good time That's where it's at. There's a way in which I dread the Bills' next appearance in the Super Bowl. That afternoon and evening is a national day of recreation and just hanging out. Also: I am ALL IN on Matthew Ryan. Always loved that young man. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I'm rooting for my neighbor's party to have some good beer and food. I can't remember the last time I relied on the host for my beer. Even if they say they have it covered, I never trust it. Nothing worse than getting stuck drinking corn water for the big game. Quote
bunomatic Posted February 4, 2017 Report Posted February 4, 2017 Mmmmm. I can't wait for the seven layered dip. Thats my big play of the day. Quote

SwampD Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 The only television I have watched this week has been two Sabres games and a couple of minutes here and there of some other hockey games. My media blackout of all things politics and Patriots has been glorious. Not even sure if I am going to watch tonight. If the Patriots were not in it, I absolutely would watch. Yours truly, Blissfully unaware. Quote
SwampD Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 Like an idiot, I tuned in. FOX doing the game,... just, ugh. USA! USA! USA! Quote
GoPre Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 (edited) 34-30 Falcons My prediction before the game was 24-17 Atlanta. It stays the same. Edited February 6, 2017 by GoPre Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 I predict that it will be 7 - 0 Atlanta at about 3 minutes into the 2nd. Just call me Nostradamus. Quote
