Mustache of God Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Oh him. I totally forgot about that guy already. Whose the Nashville equivalent of Tom Brady that's going to set Derek Grant up to score all these goals? PK Quote
woods-racer Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) So where is stand up Poster of Kim Pegula. You know the one with pieces being taken off as they win! Dont have photoshop any more but one of you wiz kids im sure could! Smell steals them as soon as we get them, it's a losing battle, so we just let him have them. Preds are 6-1 in their last 7, have won 3 in a row, and are 15-0-4 when scoring first Sooooo.... we got this. Edited January 24, 2017 by Woods-Racer Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 I'll be at the game with several Sabres fans. Sitting in the section behind the Sabres bench about 10 rows up. This game will be a tough one... the Preds are playing really well. But, the Sabres have a strong record against the Western Conference, so we'll see... Quote
MattPie Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Derek Grant becomes the first player in NHL history to score a hat trick as his first three goals in the league after playing 20 games. Quote
ubkev Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Derek Grant becomes the first player in NHL history to score a hat trick as his first three goals in the league after playing 20 games. ...and we beat Nashville 4-3? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Really hope the boys show us something tonight. Time to put that consistency together. A good 5-6 game streak would be nice. Can't get the hopes up too high though, I don't want to go to bed miserable tonight Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Glass half empty: Sabres tied for last with 47. Glass half full Sabres just 5 points out of a wild card with 2 games in hand. Still 11 teams within 8 points fighting for 3 playoff spots. Quote

Brawndo Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Derek Grant probable scratch tonight Saros in net. .952 Save Percentage and 1.10 GAA in nine games Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Derek Grant probable scratch tonight Saros in net. .952 Save Percentage and 1.10 GAA in nine games Saros is the real deal. He is the heir apparent in net for the Preds. Looks like Colin Wilson will be back from injury so that's probably why Grant gets scratched. Quote
SabresBaltimore Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Grant from Hodgson and Gaustad. I liked exactly one of those players when they were in Buffalo. Quote
LTS Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 So is the game in Virginesee or Tenneginia? It's all I really care about. Quote
PartyZombies Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 I liked exactly one of those players when they were in Buffalo. I second that sentiment. Also Sabres win 6-4 tonight because we're due for a ridiculous game that will get our hopes up just for them to lose the next 4 in a row. It is the Buffalo way. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 I don't want to play Saros. That kid is the next Price IMO. I like him better than Vasilevskiy. Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Saros in net. .952 Save Percentage and 1.10 GAA in nine games Unsustainable. Go get 'im, boys! I liked exactly one of those players when they were in Buffalo. Yep. We all know Coney Hotdog was a fan favorite. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 BREAKING NEWS: The NHL is not getting rid of the loser point any time soon! What they need to do is go to a 3-2-1 points system. 3 points for regulation win, 2 points for OT/shootout win, 1 point for loss. Quote
SabresBaltimore Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Unsustainable. Go get 'im, boys! Yep. We all know Coney Hotdog was a fan favorite. Give a Honk for the Goose! What they need to do is go to a 3-2-1 points system. 3 points for regulation win, 2 points for OT/shootout win, 1 point for loss. Yes. They do. I totally agree/wish they would. But I doubt they because there was already an outcry when they added the loser point. If you went to a 3 point system all the point records would have to be thrown out, and the league probably doesn't want to do that. The Capitals currently have 32 wins and a ROW of 31. I have no idea how many of that 31 were OT wins, but lets just say 5 of them. That's 26*3 + 5*2 + 1*1 = 89 points through 47 games played. A 90 point season is now garbage. Quote

Sabel79 Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Yep. We all know Coney Hotdog was a fan favorite. Unrelated to tonight's game, but I can't be the only one who gets incredibly angry when I see Cy Hgsn's continued cap hit. Can I? Quote

Not as much to do with records as it is keeping the league close so everyone thinks they're still in it even though in reality it's really tough to climb 5-7 points. Keeps butts in the stands later in the season. Quote

Yep, It's a money grab, and the illusion is working on us.... a last place team who thinks they still have a chance more than half-way through the season. Quote
