TrueBlueGED
6-3-1 in January… …and no one would know by reading this board. 60% points percentage. They need to be 66.7% the rest of the way to get to ~95 and have a real shot.
SwampD
5 points behind Toronto... ...with -3 games at hand. Actually, we are 4 points behind TO with -2 games at hand. But we are also 5 points behind Boston with 3 games at hand. I just hope y'all don't miss these trees 'cuz you're looking at the forest. qwksndmonster
I don't care that it's not a movie: Game of Thrones. Every time you think something good is happening, three awful things quickly follow.Doubly true because I watch and I get mad.

Being an accountant does not mean that I am good with number ... a popular misconception, but by my calculation that is 65% points percentage. I just hope y'all don't miss these trees 'cuz you're looking at the forest. My mistake, NHL.com must have been slow updating the standings after the game last night. But that still doesn't look, like, good. Right, but by the time we catch up to the Bruins in games played and teams like the hurricanes do too, we're not going to be focused on passing the Bruins anymore. It'll be another team in that WC spot that we are behind similar to Toronto. What does that last line mean? All I know is that you took a little shot at the board (which I don't mean to sound like I'm taking too seriously or personally or anything haha) for not realizing that we're having a good January, when the rest of the board is well aware that the stretch doesn't mean too much yet because we happened to win only 13 of our first 36 games, and that we're going to have to finish the rest of the season on a better run than that to have a prayer. I think the board deserves some slack with regards to being pessimistic about the playoffs this year, because quite frankly, it's the correct place to be as of right now. Randall Flagg
No slack. Um, yeah. Believe it or not (and it's understandable if you don't) I want these guys to make a big run for it just as much as you! I just express it differently lol

DarthEbriate
I must stay in character. This season is like Revenge of the Sith. We went into it thinking, it can't be like those two previous seasons that were Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones-level bad. And we remember that some great films of yesteryear like Star Wars and Empire. But... despite having some really good actors, and a few good performances, and occasional flashes of awesomeness... overall it still feels empty. Underlying flaws and inconsistencies prevent it from being a great all-around movie. But we love the universe and hope the next one involves us hoisting up the exploded half of a Death Star overhead. MattPie
Star Wars, Episode.. 3. The Sabres were once good, then an abomination (Episode 1), you had hoped the next two were going to be better, but you just ended up disappointed and sad. The hope is the next set will be pretty good (recently watched Force Awakens, not bad).
