See my problem with the save is again loom how over committed he is. He's so out of position that he's forced to make a miracle save. It reminds me of what Johnson had to do all last year

Just when I thought I was out.....they pull me back in.

Never woulda guessed these guys played nearly 65 mins last night. And what a rebound game for Lehner (pun intended).

I'd like to see Carrier get more ice time...great speed and physical play with some skill too. But I think he gets like 9 minutes per night

Hopefully enough guys are pawned off at the deadline that He, Bailey and Baptiste are all in the lineup.

Kane looking dangerous

It will go largely unnoticed, but we were struggling to even touch the puck in OT, with Risto in particular responsible for another force up the boards and giveaway in OT. But directly leading to the goal, Kane got the puck in our zone along boards and instead of trying to force it, calmly played it back to keep possession. Up the ice, we score.

Whale of a game today from Kane.

Hasek made a career making saves like that.

Radulov made an all world offensive play to make the pass back and Sabres defense had over committed. Not sure what Lehner is supposed to do there. Kane was standing right in front of him in front of the net instead of picking up the trailing forward.

Let's not pretend Lehner is Hasek

He shouldn't be committed that much to the point that where he has to dive back like that IMO

And we're 5pts out with 3 games in hand. That loss to Toronto really hurt

I was worried he was going to try and rush that and was thrilled when he got it back to ROR or Bogo or whoever it was.

That was a great third period (and exempting the those first couple minutes of overtime where we couldn't get a line change) and overtime. Superb goaltending on both sides. Open flow, pinching defencemen, lots of fun.

Now, release your snap shop, only your goals can destroy me.

This ain't a good battle to fight, my man. If Lehner doesn't fully commit to Galchenyuk, was it? Then Chucky has a wide open net to shoot the puck in. The nature of 3v3 is one of goalies being pulled out of position like that.

Bogosian has had his share of bonehead plays recently, but he's also done some good things.

They need to give some of Risto's minutes to Franson. Risto has played almost 65 minutes in the last two nights.

For those who are still watching the standings, unfortunate 3 point game in Toronto. At least the sens got the bonus point and Matthews didn't get any points. And Tampa getting crushed by Arizona of all teams.
