dudacek Posted February 20, 2017 Report Posted February 20, 2017 Stone from Arizona to Calgary for a 3rd and conditional 5th. Meh, depth D for Calgary, but that price was in the ball park. Does that more or less set Franson's price? Quote
Scottysabres Posted February 20, 2017 Report Posted February 20, 2017 Does that more or less set Franson's price? I think it does, unless he's in a package. Quote
thewookie1 Posted February 21, 2017 Report Posted February 21, 2017 Does that more or less set Franson's price? Close to it, Franson might still get a 2nd in the right setting but I too have thought 3rd + 5th is about what he'd get. Though I'd take a guess and say it'd be a 3rd that can turn into a 2nd and a 5th Quote

Brawndo Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 The Pens have acquired defenseman Ron Hainsey from the Hurricanes in exchange for a 2017 2nd-rounder & Danny Kristo. Kulikov and Franson's trade value just spiked Quote
Scottysabres Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Pricey for Hainsey, but Pits already running into the dreaded defensemen injury bug. Maatta out 6 weeks and now Daley out from surgery. Quote

inkman Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Good deal for the Pens. Hainsey is a quality dman. Puhlease. He hasn't been a plus player in 5 seasons. :flirt: Edited February 23, 2017 by inkman Quote
pi2000 Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Puhlease. He hasn't been a plus player in 5 seasons. :flirt: you got me there. A -16 on a team with a -23 goal differential is not ideal. Quote

Kulikov and Franson's trade value just spiked This is bad news for Bogosian. Unless the Sabres magically squeak in, Bogo (512 and counting) will take over as active leader for games played without a playoff appearance. For the record, Kane is fourth behind Hainsey, Bogo, and Eberle. Quote

Huckleberry Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 well with Daley, Schutlz and Maatta down they'll need more help on defence, they are playing Ruhwedel now .... Quote
Brawndo Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Or they may have had their choice of Kulikov and Hainsey at the price and they chose Hainsey. Or Rutherford knows Hainsey from his time with the Canes and feels more comfortable with this him Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Hainsey's name always makes me ask: How is his hockey nickname derived? Does he have to be Hainzer? Quote

inkman Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Hainsey's name always makes me ask: How is his hockey nickname derived? Does he have to be Hainzer? It probably morphed into Banana Hammock or something knowing the maturing level of these guys. (takes one to know one) Quote
North Buffalo Posted February 24, 2017 Author Report Posted February 24, 2017 http://thehockeywriters.com/st-louis-blues-extend-patrik-berglund/Blues extend Berglund Does this effect Kane in anyway and set the market or is this an underlyer and Kane sets the market next year?? Quote

dudacek Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 There goes Anaheim for Kane @StarsInsideEdge Dallas Stars trade RW Patrick Eaves to Anaheim for conditional second-round pick in 2017. Hmm...Bob Murray's version of a hockey trade? He said he was interested in one of those, not a rental. Looks a helluvalot like a rental to me. Quote
WildCard Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Geez. Are we really overinflating the value of Evander Kane on here? Looks like Montour or Theodore would realistically cost my original proposal of Kane + 2017 1st Quote
