matter2003 Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 So we gave up Pysyk for a year of trash and moving up like 2 spots in the second round? ok I'm not the biggest Kulikov fan but even I'll admit the guy hasn't probably even played a game at close to 100% this year with his back injury in the pre-season Quote
WildCard Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 So we gave up Pysyk for a year of trash and moving up like 2 spots in the second round? ok Who did we take with that pick? Asplund? Quote
TheAud Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 So we gave up Pysyk for a year of trash and moving up like 2 spots in the second round? ok I believe the Kulikov trade was, quietly, GMTM's worst trade. Quote
josie Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Well that was an underwhelming afternoon. At least I got a brief glimpse of Bryz and one of the other dude's heads photoshopped onto a muscle bod and Chris Farley's bod. I missed my chance to screenshot it :( Quote
North Buffalo Posted March 1, 2017 Author Report Posted March 1, 2017 oof so much for Murray... zero fs given fire them all. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 I believe the Kulikov trade was, quietly, GMTM's worst trade. One wonders how things work out if that bench door wasn't open at the wrong time. Quote

WildCard Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 @TSNBobMcKenzie 5m5 minutes ago Sounds like Eric Fehr to TOR. @Real_ESPNLeBrun 1m1 minute ago This is not a typo: the Flyers retained 4.7 percent of Streit's remaining salary/cap hit in that Filppula trade. Just 4.7 percent. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 One wonders how things work out if that bench door wasn't open at the wrong time. Toronto screwed us again. Quote
Radar Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Truthfully this is about what was to b expected. Our UFA players were not going to fetch anything ,in my mind, so let's wait for expansion draft and regular draft then look at where free agency is. I could care less about just dumping players for fifth rounders just to say we did something. Quote
sodbuster Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Streit maybe going to Pittsburgh? Did I hear that right? Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 I am not surprised that Kulikov was not traded. I am convinced that Murray believes he is part of the future of this team. I never felt that Gionta would be traded today. Quote

Samson's Flow Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 That comes to $3,141.16 per game. Not for nothing, but I'd play for $3k a game. I'm not good, but i'd do it. that's a cool $257K per season  Quote

I thought maybe they might make one deal but not surprised they didn't. Quote
Huckleberry Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) lol Yzerman traded streit to the penguins :p I didn't want Gionta traded and Kulikov with his injuries was not going to get you what many here thought. I thought maybe they might make one deal but not surprised they didn't. Don't think any team wants an injured D that can't practice and only play the games. Surprised nobody wanted franson though. Huckleberry Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Have to say this with Bishop and Fillipula traded, Yzerman gave himself some nice cap space. Quote

Swedesessed Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Speaks volumes to how untradeable some of this roster really is. Quote
