Nitro60 Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 PK is handling this kill really well. Quote
Thorner Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 I missed last night's game,... 'sprobably why I'm not ready to bleed out like everyone else here. I'm excited. Friday night, three day weekend, we get to see how the young'ns rebound. I like hockey. It's fun. ... I also like manhattans. Think I'll have one during the game. Me too. Plus, ya know, we are going to win! --- How do we look so far? Just got home from work. Eichel's problem Is that he's not as good as he thinks he is. I would classify it as decision making. It's pretty similar to what you said, but I'd label it a bit differently. His shot selection leaves something to be desired. But his decision making issues will evaporate with experience. Quote
Norcal Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 The PK is terrible this year. Direct result of losing Barr imo Quote
The Dominator Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Oh Eichel, what an ugly turnover Quote
darksabre Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Bogo has made a couple good plays tonight. Quote
Thorner Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) Good example of the decision making there, from Jack. Interestingly, we very rarely see that from Reinhart. But his IQ is as advertised, off the charts. Edited January 14, 2017 by Thorny Quote
Beer Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Jack's going to find himself with the plumbers on the 4th line if he keeps up these antics Quote
The Dominator Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) I feel like Eichel's decision making is very sound, unless it's a blind pass. Every other situation he does the right thing, but those soft blind passes seem to occur with him more than anyone else. He'll mitigate the frequency of them with time I'm sure Edited January 14, 2017 by TheDominator Quote
Thorner Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 It's nice to know that all that lower body work these guys put in, in the offseason, goes to sh*te when they feel the slightest touch by an opposing player Quote
Cityo'Rasmii Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Anders nice and steady baby Quote

Brawndo Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 D-Lo, Reinhart, Eichel and Risto out there One of these things is not like the other Quote
Tondas Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Marcus has great offensive instincts, he just doesn't have the hands to pull it off. Quote
3putt Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Nice pass Jack. Oh it,was blind never mind Quote
Beer Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 One period in the books, we're winning, I guess all is well ???? Quote
The Dominator Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 I feel that on the PP especially he sometimes takes inopportune shots, and vice versa. But it's part of being a young player. I'm a complete homer for Jack so I'm excited whenever he shoots. Whether it's an ideal shot or not, I feel like it'll go in when it's him winding up. And if not, I figure the rebound will be juicy. Is it sound logic? No. Does my heart flutter whenever he winds up or snaps off a wrister? Maybe... Quote
Mig22 Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Bogosian was good last night with several quality plays and he has been good again. Will never be a good passer but he has snuffed out opportunities in the last two games and been a good physical presence. and yes, Sam can really pass. Quote
