Well? IIRC he had the longest scoreless start to a career ever, and with him being waived now who knows of he'll ever get another shot

There are at least two other players with longer scoreless starts.  I know Tim Sestito never scored an NHL goal (101 games) and I cannot think of the other off the top of my head.

I voted No. The longer it takes him to come back up the more guys will pass him up on the depth chart for callups. Guys they want to give looks to such as Rodrigues or even give some time to Nylander.

 

By next season he'll be 27 and he won't have much more opportunities.

I don't think Toronto picked him up.  I don't think anyone can pick him up until tomorrow.
