WildCard Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) Well? IIRC he had the longest scoreless start to a career ever, and with him being waived now who knows of he'll ever get another shot Edited January 10, 2017 by WildCard Quote
Eleven Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 Well? IIRC he had the longest scoreless start to a career ever, and with him being waived now who knows of he'll ever get another shot There are at least two other players with longer scoreless starts. I know Tim Sestito never scored an NHL goal (101 games) and I cannot think of the other off the top of my head. Quote
MattPie Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 He'll end up playing at some point due to injury and luck one in. I feel it. Quote
Two or less Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 I voted No. The longer it takes him to come back up the more guys will pass him up on the depth chart for callups. Guys they want to give looks to such as Rodrigues or even give some time to Nylander. By next season he'll be 27 and he won't have much more opportunities. Quote
Eleven Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 Yes. On January 17th. I don't think Toronto picked him up. I don't think anyone can pick him up until tomorrow. Quote
SwampD Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 I don't think Toronto picked him up. I don't think anyone can pick him up until tomorrow. Yep. I misread that tweet. One more reason to hate Twitter. Quote
WildCard Posted January 10, 2017 Author Report Posted January 10, 2017 Yep. I misread that tweet. One more reason to hate Twitter. That's like hating books because you can't read  ;) Quote

sabills Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Looking like a better chance today than it did yesterday at this time. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 He was claimed by the Preds. The dream survives. Quote
