inkman Posted January 7, 2017 Author Report Posted January 7, 2017 I don't know a single person who eats at a hockey game. But if I did, it would be a pretzel. I don't know a single person that doesn't Quote
ubkev Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 Walk in, grab nachos and beer, find seats, finish nachos, grab more beer. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 OK. So are we making this poll just for Buffalo or are we making it all inclusive? Feel free to add more incorrect choices if such is your desire. Quote
nfreeman Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 My vote is for some kind of hot sandwich with melted cheese. A philly cheese steak works. In Brooklyn there is a Cuban sandwich that is good enough that I would order it outside the arena. Quote
WildCard Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 Walk in, grab nachos and beer, find seats, finish nachos, grab more beer.Bingo. Then hit Mighty on the way home Quote
sodbuster Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Bingo. Then hit Mighty on the way homeFreaking always. Quote
Claude Balls Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Nachos hands down. Now I want some Rainforest Cafe nachos. They are soo good. The nachos at Frontier Field are pretty good too. Quote
thewookie1 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 pretzel, I have eaten one pretzel every time I go to the arena. Including the prospect games and the draft. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Nachos aren't very good Your taste buds are defective. Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Greasey thick french fries with lots of ketchup... you talking local rink or NHL rink? Brewster has awesome fries... plus a bar upstairs with full menu to go along with their three rinks. Quote
Eleven Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Nachos aren't very good At the arena? You're right. It's a stale chip dipped in yellow disappointment. Quote
woods-racer Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 At the arena? You're right. It's a stale chip dipped in yellow disappointment. Thank you. That is exactly what they are in the KBC. The beef on weck is also terrible. Stale bun with cold, over cooked meat like substance. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I can't believe how many here have food opinions as bad as Eleven's. Did you all have some kind of food opinion where his spread around like a bad STD? Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Fried bologna master race. That's not a bad opinion. It's wrong, but it's not bad. It's the disparagement of arena nachos that cannot, and will not, be tolerated. Quote

It's the disparagement of arena nachos that cannot, and will not, be tolerated....it's nachos. Bad chips with mediocre cheese that's probably gone bad already, if you get it at the arena. How is this considered a good food? Quote
Sabel79 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Everything tastes better if you're just dumping it on top of copious amounts of alcohol. It's the only way I eat poutine, for instance. Quote
Weave Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 At the arena? You're right. It's a stale chip dipped in yellow disappointment. At last, the blind squirrel has found an acorn. Arena nachos are only acceptable because of the general failure of most all arena food. Salty, crunchy, cheesy works. But in this case it works only at the lowest common denominator level. Backhanded praise at best. At an arena I'd rather buy a bag of in shell peanuts to eat with my beer. Quote
Cereal Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos at the arena in Raleigh are good. But I agree with those saying that yellow chips with cheese is not worth it. I voted popcorn -- top with jalapenos FTW! Quote
pi2000 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 At the arena? You're right. It's a stale chip dipped in yellow disappointment. Copious amounts of jalapenos tho. ???? Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Fried bologna master race.Spam Spam Spam........it's nachos. Bad chips with mediocre cheese that's probably gone bad already, if you get it at the arena. How is this considered a good food? Not sure the "cheese" can actual be considered food or is an actual milk product. Sad really because baseball stadiums often have great food. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 All you nacho-hating heathens should be required to buy the rest of us nachos at the Sabrespace meetup. No, I don't have a logical reason why, but you need to be punished for your insolence somehow. Quote

Not too many, just a couple. That salt is just so good. Quote
