Tondas Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 this coach really has to go. Not a good reflection on GMTM when his 1st round forfeit goalie and his first coach are performing well below expectations. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 People default to "effort" far too easily, and don't think it really has been an issue for most of the year, but they are clearly going through the motions right now. Everyone not named Reinhart, anyway. Quote
stinky finger Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Between our early play and Jack Edwards inane comments I'm not sure I can stomach this I truly HATE Edwards. Quote
Norcal Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Finally a good sequence for the Sabres. That was nice Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 That was a tremendous pass by Risto. But even though he scored, look at Jack's body language--there's nothing there. That's what Eeyore would look like if he scored. Quote
Norcal Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 I truly HATE Edwards.that dude is an unabashed chowda lover Quote

I'm ok with him being stern and pissed. He didn't look emotionless *just then*, he looked determined. Edited December 31, 2016 by Eleven Quote
MDFan Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 I don't blame him if he is. Look who he is playing with. Now that I say that, they finally put him on a line with real NHL players and he scores. Great shot. Quote
dudacek Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Everyone not named Reinhart, anyway. Samson at centre has been one of the few bright spots in the past few games. Hell of a shift there and it wasn't the first tonight. Quote
Claude Balls Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 There will be fights. Hope Lehner is involved I would never say anything bad about Lehner again if he gave any Bruins player a jailhouse beat down. Certain players I'd rather see him stomp, but I'll settle for anyone right about now. Quote
Huckleberry Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 No, that's what Chris Drury would have looked like in that situation. Was cute how he waited for Samson to go off the ice together :p I'm liking Samson more and more, he keeps trying. Quote

I'm ok with him being stern and pissed. He didn't look emotionless *just then*, he looked determined. Don't agree with the first part of this. His anger was hurting his game, not driving it. The look after the goal was him shaking off the pout. Let's see what he brings in the third. Quote

Yea, but Eichel and Drury are polar opposite personalities. Samson at centre has been one of the few bright spots in the past few games. Hell of a shift there and it wasn't the first tonight. The silver lining to Larsson's injury is that maybe, just maybe, Samson will stick at center after O'Reilly returns. Quote
bunomatic Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Hate to lose Larry for any amount of time Quote
Thorner Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Reinhart has 7 points in last 6 games. Mostly at centre, no? Kid is better than fine. Let's just hope Bylsma stays out of his way. Quote
Beer Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 WGR is talking about us right now, our roasting of Lenny Quote
dudacek Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Hate to lose Larry for any amount of time Yes, but we will be a better team when Sam is in ROR's slot, ROR in Larry's. WGR is talking about us right now, our roasting of Lenny The Lenny roasters haven't had a lot of opportunity to come out this year. Horrible goal at a horrible time tonight though, despite a handful of great saves. Quote
Stoner Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 WGR is talking about us right now, our roasting of Lenny Really? Quote
Eleven Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Eichel looks pretty determined to start the third. Quote
