Claude Balls Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Between our early play and Jack Edwards inane comments I'm not sure I can stomach this I'd listen in silence before listening to that asshat Quote
bunomatic Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 When Dan said the Sabres are going to have to play playoff hockey the other day, I was wondering what's their reference point. If we're being called upon for a playoff hockey performance, we're in serious trouble. I hate to say this but, I think our only hope in this game is that Boston is indiscipline, and our PP is hot. yeah so far its a tirefire Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Great play by Franson to set up Kane. Hey, somebody has to say something positive! I meant anticipation to ruin him. :( Quote
Huckleberry Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 That may be the worst 5 on 3 I've ever seen no Quote
GoPre Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 (edited) So the Sabres have been outscored 5 - 0 in the last 3 periods against the Bruins. Had a terrible 5 on 3. Hopefully this is the last bad period of the year. Edited December 31, 2016 by GoPre Quote
Kristian Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Did a Sabre ever receive a pass *in* stride, this season? I've never seen a team stand still, as much as we do. Quote
bunomatic Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Any positives out of that one ? Quote
That Aud Smell Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Ray likes the physical play. Crashing. Banging. I could go for some puck possession. Quote
DFITZ1 Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Any positives out of that one ? It's only 1-0. Good thing Schaller didn't shoot at the lower corner. Quote

bunomatic Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 It's only 1-0. Good thing Schaller didn't shoot at the lower corner. I don't think we had an actual scoring chance which isn't unusual. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Did a Sabre ever receive a pass *in* stride, this season? I've never seen a team stand still, as much as we do. Indeed. Not exactly conducive to generating pressure. God - they look awful. But hits! :wallbash: Quote
Norcal Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Weak ass goal, larsson gone for some games, terrible 5 on 3 wooooo, lets go!!! Quote
Brawndo Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Stuck at work and can't watch. Which appears to be a good thing Quote
DFITZ1 Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Typical Sabres shift: 1. Chase puck in the defensive zone for 30 sec. - 2. get puck off rebound - 3. flip puck outside offensive zone 4. Change lines (unless icing is called) 5. Sit back and let opposition carry puck into Sabres defensive zone. 6. Repeat steps 1-5. Is this DB's system? Awful. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Stuck at work and can't watch. Which appears to be a good thing Yea, I don't think I'd say "stuck" at work. More like "Fortunate to be working" Quote
Tondas Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Is Tyrod the one passing? No, a few of our passes were between the hashes. Quote
Eleven Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Ray likes the physical play. Crashing. Banging. I could go for some puck possession. Remember that big win against the Kings? Quote
Norcal Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Like the ratty situations in London and Atlanta, Boston's rat problem may very well have been exacerbated by the recession. Improper trash storage and construction projects are another two commonly cited culprits. Regardless of the exact causes involved, the whole issue has Bostonians up in arms, especially considering the fact that between 1995 and 1997, Boston had a rodent-kill program in place that was wildly successful. But the money for that dried up, and rodents have since returned. Quote
Claude Balls Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 After watching D-Lo talk in between periods, I think the Sabres may actually lead the league in something.....tattoos!! Quote
DFITZ1 Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Stuck at work and can't watch. Which appears to be a good thing It's like watching the tank years. Mazaros-Benoit all over again. Quote
dudacek Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Larsson could be gone for awhile by the look of that one. We also appeared to be down a d-man late. Gorges missing, maybe? Quote
Claude Balls Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 No, a few of our passes were between the hashes. Ha, good point. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Larsson could be gone for awhile by the look of that one. We also appeared to be down a d-man late. Gorges missing, maybe? He was for a stretch, but Hamilton said he was back on the bench by the end of the period. Quote
