This is great theme/background music for all those Russian dashcam crash videos on Youtube. :)

It's a fun little ditty. There is something off with the horns, I think it's purposeful but I don't know enough about music to know.

So, when do we hear about the players only meeting that keeps the media out of the room after a loss like this? Is there anyone who cares enough to call it?

Those always yield so much fruit.

I want Eichel to do just that.  Even with ROR out.

Dead last in the conference. This is a mess and personally I blame GMTM as much as coaching. He's done okay assembling forwards, but his defense and goaltending moves stink. Trading a 1st round pick for Lehner while letting goalies just as good (e.g., Johnson) walk still irks me.

The goalie that went Calgary played better than the current basketball power forward they now have in the nets

Exactly. He is playing really well in Calgary this year. 13-8 with a 2.34 GAA and .920 save %. And, he only makes $1.7 million. GMTM's bias in favor of giant goaltenders is hurting us.

The Lehner appears to be nothing but average. I would like to see my physical play in front of the net

That is not good. I thought Murray was on to something with his goalie

Watching the Penguins power play right now, I legitimately forgot hockey, specifically puck movement, could be that smooth and skillful. Sobering, how far we clearly still have to go as a team.

Aside from the first period on thursday the Bruins were far and away the better team for the most part of 5 periods over the last 2 games. We looked and played like hot garbage.

I may be a little misleading, I put the blame of the teams play on coaching. Playing as hard as you can and knowing/feeling you are the better team but losing leads to great frustration for the player and for the coach, something has to give and I don't think it's on the players to *try harder*.

I got to listen to the Kane *fight*. I don't believe a punch was thrown, but it sure sounded like a frustration fight on Kane's part from RJ's description. To me that's two very frustrated players that vented in different ways but for the same reason, they don't believe they are playing a game that plays to their strengths.

I'm not sure, but I believe you put more of the ownness on the players for the losing, right?

Rob ray again said it's on the players. Must have taken too many knuckles to his head

Sounds totally PC doesn't it?

He may not be the greatest speaker in the world but he knows not cast boulders into the calm pool where his pay check emerges from.

Why did they fire lindy again. Holy crap for this guy. Never in a million years did I see this one coming. Lindy needed a change of scenery

only in Buffalo we have brawlers like ray and peters doing hockey games. Where is Jim Lorentz!

Matt Coller made a joke about Eichel screaming we should have signed Lee!!

This is the only reference I could find

Maybe 2017 will make more sense. I swear, the whole year has been goofy.

You're saying it though.  He's done a nice job assembling forwards yet we don't score.  That's coaching IMO.  It seems to me the skilled players are trying to figure out how to use their talent while adhering to Bylsma's system.  Then you see Gionta being a good soldier and dumping the puck in at nauseum like he should be.  To me there needs to be a clear distinction on how separate lines should be playing instead of one system for the entire roster.

I'll give GMTM criticism for Lehner but hey he was his first choice after the tank.  It's not working out but he surely had to give him this year after an injury ridden 1st year to show what he can do.  It's not like he's made several bad goalie decisions.

But if the defensemen that can move the puck, tilt the ice in your direction and get the puck out of your zone with nice passes, your forwards won't score much. Bostons defense is excellent. They rebuilt better than we did back there

I don't think anyone could disagree with you on your point.  However with the puck already headed towards the offensive zone we don't use many options besides dumping the puck in and we're especially bad once we have possession in the offensive zone.

Ray and Peters are too typical of what you get when former marginal players get jobs in broadcasting. Troy Aikman and Chris Collingsworth to name a couple in football I think are pretty good. Jim Lorentz I liked as well but in hockey there's not many I care to listen to. That mute button is so handy.

and Brad May...i watch the games on mute now...especially when RJ is not doing the games....Ray is an embarrassment as an analyst...he talks during the play by play...doesn't he realize the game is on radio also?
