WildCard Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Is Fedun in then? Or is he still injured? Saw him play in Rochester last night Quote
Stads Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 At this point of the season, we have 4 goals from defenseman. That has to be on pace to break a record. Quote
WildCard Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Franson is in for 77.And we're Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 And we're ######Right now that might be an upgrade to be honest.29-55 41-6 4-47 Is what I'd like to see. Falk and Franson weren't bad at all together from what I remember Quote
dudacek Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Franson hasn't been bad this year. Quote
inkman Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 I was going to say the Canes probably have a hatred of Buffalo, but it may be waning since the playoff series where the alleged raping and pillaging happened was many years back now. Pretty sure Sabres fans acted dooshy enough to make them hate us forever. Quote

SwampD Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Franson hasn't been bad this year. Shhhh. Something something narrative. Quote
sodbuster Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Ennis on ice skating today in non contact jerseyI bet if we asked really nicely, they would let him wear one in the game. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Shhhh. Something something narrative. This whole board has seemed pleasantly surprised by Cody's game this year, hasn't it? At least, as uniform as a message board can be. Quote
SwampD Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 This whole board has seemed pleasantly surprised by Cody's game this year, hasn't it? At least, as uniform as a message board can be. I know, and I've found it to be pretty silly considering that he has been the player this year that he has been every year. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 I know, and I've found it to be pretty silly considering that he has been the player this year that he has been every year. I do think he was worse last year than he was in Toronto/Nashville, and he's now back to that form. There were comments from GMTM, Bylsma, and Cody himself that he rededicated himself this summer and they all were seeing positive results from it. Quote
Mig22 Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Franson also struggled with that vision problem last year. It is apparently better this year or he has learned to compensate for it. He is definitely making fewer mistakes and has maintained the physical side of his game. The shot from the point hasn't been what it was in the past though...maybe just an offshoot of the lousy offense to this point though. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 This whole board has seemed pleasantly surprised by Cody's game this year, hasn't it? At least, as uniform as a message board can be. He has been such a pleasant surprise that I had completely forgotten that he has that first name. Quote

He was, but he was also injured and missed most of the season so that's to be expected. The narrative has far outlasted what we have seen on the ice though, by a lot. And I still stand by my position in our earlier discussions on this matter. Quote

If so, then I still think you're wrong :P Quote
WildCard Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Sweep the Bruins and we're 2 points out of the playoffs. Get swept and we're 10. This is pretty much our season here folks Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 No pressure on Dan I'm sure. I hope the players realise the magnitude of this situation and that they react accordingly. These two games will be very telling. Quote
Drunkard Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Pretty sure Sabres fans acted dooshy enough to make them hate us forever. Hopefully so. I haven't been to a game in Raleigh in a couple of seasons now but I always did my part to let those sister fisters know that their family trees are supposed to fork. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 It's going to be frustrating because we have trouble scoring goals, and Boston does everything they can to muck up games and get out with a 2-1 victory, especially on the road. We're going to have a tough time, take some bad penalties, and be frustrated with our guys and theirs even if we get the win tonight. Julien really seems to know how to adapt to the rosters he's given. They haven't had a defense in a few years now. Quote
Cereal Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Since the Sabres' sweet 6-3 comeback win in Boston on 12/26/2015, the Bruins have won the last five in a row, including one in OT and one in the SO. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Bad news: Living in NH, my NHL.tv will black out the MSG feed.Good news: I can use my DVR to sync up the WGR radio feed to the NESN video. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Hopefully so. I haven't been to a game in Raleigh in a couple of seasons now but I always did my part to let those sister fisters know that their family trees are supposed to fork. What a lovely turn of phrase. Eloquent and succinct. Quote
