Buffalo is becoming the Edmonton of the East.  Good young talent that does not translate into wins.

Just pitiful being a fan of these guys

I'm a firm believer in karma and the Pegula's are paying for making a fortune by raping the earth... we the fans are left to suffer.

Interesting way of looking at that

What more can be said?  Each Sabre has to man up and refuse to lose.  Fight, hack, hit, whatever it takes.  They have the talent to be less than last place. man up and show it.

Better coach and McDavid

McClellan is a damn good coach, Edmonton will be good for a while... and so will Toronto once their young guys get some seasoning. We are only a coach away. The older players contracts will end. We will be ok. DD is the wrong person for this franchise.

Good thing we gave Risto over 29 minutes with the garbage can tonight. We don't want him capable of playing after game 60.

We have literally one good pair on defense. The rest is terrible. We can thank our awesome GM for that.

I'm grumpy with Murray too, and the defense is flawed. But literally swapping two players would have made us so much better in this game.

If Kulikov and Bogosian are used to their strengths, and Risto and McCabe play together and just do their thing, we would look so much better than we do.

I'm fired up and don't want to go to bed, Fack, the first period had me feeling so good. Jack was skating soooo smooth. I should learn to temper my enthusiasm.

There isn't a lot of that sort of thing in the NHL these days.

At least not in the regular season.

Didn't Murray decline a trade that was something like Spooner + a 2nd for Stewart?

I believe the story goes he was looking to use Stewart as part of a bigger deal but it fell through late, and by that time Boston had already added forward depth.

In his (meager) defense, Boston was shopping Spooner to every single team in the league and nobody would trade pucks for him. Still, he got a worse return for Stewart than taking that trade even not knowing Spooner would be good, and that's on him.
