woods-racer Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 3rd game in 4 nights. Maybe they're drained like the proverbial swamp. But they look the same each night Quote
matter2003 Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 (edited) I'm sure all his players really loved how Eichel wasn't on either PP unit last night for the first PP of the night right after the Sabres went down 1-0...brilliant move Dan...brilliant...take your Superstar player off the ice when he will pretty much be guaranteed to be in the offensive zone and replace him with....umm...Foligno?? I know he got crazy style points for fixing his hair before the fight and he became an instant NHL Network legend but cmon...let's use some damn sense... Edited December 24, 2016 by matter2003 Quote

WanderingEye Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Hm, will they get their 1 goal tonight? Time is running out. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Falk should play point on the power play. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Someone explain again how this team is ahead of anyone in their rebuild? No goaltending, mediocre defence,no goal scorers, weak coaching, and most of the trade worthy assetts dealt away. Quote
Cityo'Rasmii Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Tank, Rinse, Repeat. Tank, Rinse, Grant, Repeat Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 My dad switched the game off to put Fox News on. I'm honestly thrilled about it. Quote
Thorner Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Hm, will they get their 1 goal tonight? Time is running out. This is what I get for saying I'd donate 5 dollars to the Humane Society for every goals the Sabres scored tonight. You heard it here first: The Buffalo Sabres and their players don't care about injured and homeless puppies and kittens. Quote
ubkev Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 51 days until pitchers and catchers report for spring training... Quote
hockeyhound Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 (edited)     If you can't get a goal then at least show that being embarrassed pisses you off. Somebody drop the gloves. Never mind, it won't make a difference. Edited December 24, 2016 by hockeyhound Quote
woods-racer Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Tank, Rinse, Repeat. This is way worse than the tank. The tank was intended, this is not part of the plan. Did we ever lose 5 zip in the tank years with a roster built to lose? Quote

No goaltending, mediocre defence,no goal scorers, weak coaching, and most of the trade worthy assetts dealt away. We have PLENTY of goalscorers, Bylsma won't let them play to their strengths Quote
Jacque Richard Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Harrington tweeted 75 points no way Quote
Stoner Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 Interesting, is that how you usually take in the games? Yep, I have gone back to my roots. During the tank my DTV bill went up to 100 bucks a month. I had been wanting to drop TV for awhile, so it seemed like the right time. Before this season, I had been able to find the games online, even on YouTube last season in high quality. This season, for whatever reasons, all my cheating options disappeared. So I listen to the game on my radio or on iTunes radio and then watch the highlights on sabres.com the next morning. I'd been planning on getting my TV back just for the Sabres, but have held off. Can't say I regret the decision to this point. It's why I don't offer much analysis anymore and instead rely on this board mainly. And Harrington. And Bucky. And Hammy. Quote
rjones71 Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 On another note, they scored again! Quote

They dumped and chased at least a grand worth of donations , so they love them some puppies and kittens. Quote
