Vegas, baby! Helicopter rides through the grand canyon(I'm bad on planes, but good on a helicopter), riding horses through Red Rock, roller coasters, skiing and golf.  It's awesome to have every drive carry over 300 yards in that desert air. Comedy shows, heck, every kind of shows. Vegas is fun as hell. And I have never placed a bet in a single one of their casinos. Oh and lake Mead was awesome too. Then go catch a hockey game and tell all your friends who gave you $20 to put on 17 in roulette that they lost.

It's even better when you tell them that you lost, even though you actually did win the bet.

I just recalled this one from a few years ago while reminiscing with some coworkers....

My wife chaperones the local Stars of Tomorrow winners to NYC every year for the national competition. While she’s gone I tend to live a freer bachelor lifestyle. I drank a 12 pack of Milwaukee’s best Ice and then some this one night. I got completely shitfaced.

I got up and made it work but I was hurting. I eventually notice that there appeared to be some sort of trouble with my underwear being uncomfortable. The more sober I got, the worse it felt. It was like I couldn’t get the rear end of my boxer briefs to stay up for some reason. Finally at break time I go into the porta potty to investigate.....

I had them on backwards....?

Canada and Northern countries get extremely cold in their winters, why doesn't Australia, South Africa, etc get that cold in their winters?

Umm, does Southern Australia and the southern tip of South Africa being at ~35°S latitude compared to Vancouver (Southern Canada) being at ~49°N latitude have anything to do with it?

I happened to be rocking my blue leather this night, and came across this wallpaper, idk why, but I chuckle at this every time I see it

I saw something the other day that Netflix is going to make a movie about Hulk Hogan and he’ll be played by Hemsworth. That should be interesting.

What?  They do.

Yes, but they still have winter and pretty darn cold.

Thought he was referring to not typically having Halifax style winters.  The Carolinas (similar latitude to Cape Town & Melbourne) catch winter as well but not nearly as severe as those we get here in WNY.

I used to keep track of various signs of spring. March 15 for quite a few years was the first day I heard mourning doves. For the past several years it's been happening earlier and earlier. This morning, they returned. February 23.

LOL ... Halifax style winters.  The Atlantic Ocean is supposed to 'moderate' our weather.  At least, that's what the brochure said.  Good thing we like it here a lot, or we'd be demanding our money back.  This winter has been extremely cold, overall.

Not to take us all down the drain here, but this is not a good thing.

Today I learned they’re mourning doves and not morning doves.

The call kind of gives it away.

Yesterday I learned it's "toe the line" and not "tow the line."

Watching the Jets-Yotes game and they just showed Myers (who finally doesn’t look like a baby), but it got me thinking...what was the disease that GoDD was convinced he had?

Marfans.

Never saw him play, but from what I read he was the Marchand of his day — one nasty SOB on the ice and the best left winger in hockey.

I’m hoping one of our lawyer friends on here can point me in the direction I need to look on a matter.

How can I find out who wrote a will for my mother? The brother that took her to get it written “can’t remember” the lawyer’s name and “can’t find” her will. He’s been living in her house for free since she passed and left me and another brother with all of the final expenses....

I’m 99.9999% certain that she named me her executor(we had a conversation about it at one point)but not much I can do with  out the will.

It may have been filed with surrogate's court.
