Some things are okay, but often topics of a delicate nature get moved off the main board.

They were all overtly political IMO.  The plain contentious subject matters (Kane off ice issues, for example) that went off the rails were deleted or locked.

But in the unlikely but plausible event of someone getting killed by a jacked up linebacker, wouldn't that be homicide? What defense would the player have? Fine print on a ticket? I think that is why they usually don't get hammered.  Mostly gently stopped by security.

It’s going to vary from state to state, I assume. I bet the players are trained pretty hard by the league and the PA to let security handle it as much as possible.

Self defense? There are some crazy bastages out there.

The justification is & always has been that they don't know what the crazy bastage running onto the field is capable of doing so they try to subdue him with all due prejudice ASAP.

(That they get a kick out of jacking some random schmuck is just a bonus.  😉)
