sodbuster Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Place around here used to have 9 dollar pitchers on Thursdays. It wasn't the best beer selection but....only 9 bucks. Plus, ya know, pitchers.Brockport bars had pitcher night in Wednesday. One semester I would leave night class and go straight to the bar for $5 (yeah, five dollars) pitchers. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 It'd be cool if ROR could win one single offensive zone PP faceoff so we don' have to ice the puck trying to get it in. Quote
sodbuster Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Did I just read that right? One shot on two power plays? Quote
Eleven Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Does that Adam Oates simp still wear 77 for Washington? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 I wouldn't be so sad about how our power play looks bad, but the fact that we need it if we ever want to win a game really puts an emphasis on when it's not clicking Quote
Eleven Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 It's very painful having to listen to the oppositions media feed all night. Â It's painful enough listening to RJ tonight. Â If you have to deal with Joe B and that complete idiot Laughlin, I'm sorry. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Moulson generated a shot at even strength. I saw it with my own eyes. Sure, it was a blooper from far out with zero chance of going in, but still, even strength shot! Quote
Stoner Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 It is 8:53 pm and I am taking my eyes out. Â I'd rather watch this nonsense with eyeglasses than with contacts. Â That way, I can just fall asleep without worrying about it. Eleven is calling it like Cronkite. Quote
hockeyhound Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) Moulson generated a shot at even strength. I saw it with my own eyes. Tondas Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Time for our "stars" to come through. Jack, ROR, Okposo. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Time for the power play to get going. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) BLEED LARRYWe've outscored opponents at even strength 9 times out of 27 this year  Our even strength numbers are still far in last place  And nights like tonight, our PP just isn't good enough to save us Edited December 10, 2016 by Randall Flagg Quote
sodbuster Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 I think I saw him spit out some double minor juice. Quote
Ogre Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Eleven is calling it like Cronkite. This made me laugh hard enough to get a corner of the eye look from my wife. Quote
Stoner Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Re: the crowd. I've heard some unsolicited third period LGB chants, with the Sabres trailing, the last two games. Pretty rare. It worked last time... Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 That should be 4 minutes. FU refs. Quote
Thorner Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 It'd be cool if ROR could win one single offensive zone PP faceoff so we don' have to ice the puck trying to get it in.  I wouldn't be so sad about how our power play looks bad, but the fact that we need it if we ever want to win a game really puts an emphasis on when it's not clicking I've noticed this too, when we don't get possession off the draw we often have difficulty getting in and set up.  Our pp was 3rd in the league coming in. That surprised me a bit. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Remember when we thought this unit was going to be great? My god. Get Moulson and Gio out there. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 That was a very Kane pass. Quote
Stoner Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 So Grumpy Larry had a scab, and that's what was knocked off by the stick and why he started bleeding, but it's not an injury. I've heard it all. Please tell me I misheard that. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Â Â I've noticed this too, when we don't get possession off the draw we often have difficulty getting in and set up. Â Our pp was 3rd in the league coming in. That surprised me a bit. They score a lot, they often don't look pretty until the goal goes in though.and they rarely score when they desperately need the goal. The numbers come from things like 3 PPG in a solid win against the Flames that was never in doubt. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 I think our best pass on this PP has been Kane's little behind the backer there. I'd say that about sums up our PP tonight. Quote
