Eleven Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Wow, we are becoming an apathetic lot. It's almost 10am! Edited December 6, 2016 by Eleven Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Without Josh Gorges, there is no hope. Quote
Eleven Posted December 6, 2016 Author Report Posted December 6, 2016 Without Josh Gorges, there is no hope. He did singlehandedly shut down McDavid last time. I'm not optimistic either. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Wow. I expected to wake up and find a couple pages already. Maybe because it's Saint Nick's Day and Knecht Ruprecht has us all worried. Perhaps a rousing song? Here comes McJesus, here comes McJesus, right down the goal mouth lane... (Until Gorges crushes him into the boards.) The Foligno-Larsson-Gionta line has to have a great night tonight. Quote
Sabel79 Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Seeing how Risto and McCabe both played about 45 minutes last night, and Edmonton is kinda fast... Not holding out much hope. Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 It's sad, the day we are missing Josh Georges.... Who stops Mcjesus tonight..... Maybe... The end boards.... Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 It's sad, the day we are missing Josh Georges.... Who stops Mcjesus tonight..... Tonight's the night we find out that Burgdoerfer is a world-class shutdown defenseman. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Eleven, what time does the game start and what channel? We didn't even start the thread right. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 I will be there. Even if we lose, seeing McDavid in person will be worth it. Quote

CallawaySabres Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Starting with last Saturday's loss to Boston, between the Bills and Sabres, the losing does not look like it will be ending any time soon.... Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Thanks; done. Thanks for starting a thread. We are slackers. This team seems lost. Adrift in a sea of confusion. Sadly I still think they are over coached and I think they have some confidence issue. The defense is woefully undermanned, thanks GMTM. We are building depth but with the injuries, gonna be a rough game today. Quote

woods-racer Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Still a heck of a lot funner hockey than we have had in years. They where a playoff bubble team at the start of the season, and are still in the mix even with all the injuries. They play every team tough, and except for the total brain fart span of Dans' to play the *try not to lose badly* hockey, they have been very entertaining. I'm just enjoying the ride of not looking to lose for prospects anymore. Edited December 6, 2016 by Woods-Racer Quote
darksabre Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 What the Sabres really need right now is a game against Milan Lucic  Quote
Derrico Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 I put the lack of depth on Murray just like a put the lack of depth on Regier I don't think any team has the depth to not see a drop off losing 3 of your top 6. Washington isn't scoring this year like they usually do but holding Ovie and company to 2 regulation goals against (1 even strength) is pretty damn good if you ask me. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Drop off? This teams been bad all year. Quote
Derrico Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 No, they haven't been good. But I'm surprised it wasn't much worse last night. Tonight could be a tough one. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Nothing will cure that wonky high ankle of Eichel's like a showdown with McJesus. Quote
