Randall Flagg Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 For the fourth time this season, when aiming to go above NHL or deLuca .500, the Buffalo Sabres not only are losing, but don't feel like playing. It's so frustrating. It'd be one thing if they were being outplayed by a Chicago team or something like that. But they just dominated the best team in the Metro division last game. They don't want this game nearly as much as Boston does. Considering the fact that Boston is in the spot we want, and a loss puts us back SIX points, it is unacceptable that we came out this way, and the coach and leaders better do something about it. This is beyond frustrating. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 So, when are the Sabres showing up? Quote
Huckleberry Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 lucky we are only 1 goal behind Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 No shots on goal after the first power play unit came off. Quote
Huckleberry Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Marchand is a ######in rat Risto or foligno will take him out :p Quote
darksabre Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Dan musta told the ambulance to stop circling. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Guess the Eichel high wore off. Back to reality. Quote
Sabel79 Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 I'm going to engage in some provocative hot-takery and say that this was a bad first period for the Sabres. Should probably be 3-0. Now hopefully they actually show up for the second. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 NHL.com 1st period stats show that we out hit the Bruins. Can that be right? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 NHL.com 1st period stats show that we out hit the Bruins. Can that be right? Yeah. We possessed the puck maybe twice in the first. Quote
Thorner Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Nice play captain. I remember saying 2 weeks ago that we like to set ourselves back 2 weeks every time we have a chance to go above .500. It appears that this will continue to be a trend. It is true that we are having difficulty going over that hump. Reinhart is playing like he's stoned. At work and only tuned in for the last 6 mins or so of that first period, it was among the worst stretches I've seen from the team this season. Dunno what was happening with Reinhart on that shift where he iced it. Hopefully it's just a bad period and they pick it up. Quote
Stoner Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 4th ranked peeper in the league Yes. Yes. Let it flow through you. This has to become a thing. Jack wishes it so. We are but his minions. Quote

I'd bet most of it is that their legs haven't kicked on yet, being 1 in the afternoon. It's just frustrating because Boston seems fine with it. Quote
dudacek Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Taking some anger into the room - against Marchand and themselves. Hope they use it when they come back out. Quote
darksabre Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Boston plays an aggressive PK. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Less than a minute to match our sog total of first Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 My god, Falk has hit a wall. We need someone to come back, like, next game, to take him out. Quote
3putt Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Samson needs to wake up. This is a divisional rival. Big boy pants Sam. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Much better start to this period. Quote
darksabre Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 I'm looking forward to this team being good enough that the occasional bad game doesn't bother me. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Oh hey! We can play hockey, who knew. Quote
