This guy is exactly the kind of guy we should have in Rochester to call up when an injury hits the big club. Kudos to GMTM for bringing him on board.

He provides steady, if not spectacular, minutes on the blue line. I worry less about Justin Falk playing defense than either of our aging vets.

 

Plus you don't have to pay a journeyman Dman the same you pay for a end-of-career veteran.  This will become important when our young guns start getting their big contracts just a few years from now.
