Brawndo Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 It will be interesting to see how DD's New Lines fare in The Nation's Capital against Ovi who is coming off a hat trick on Wednesday Quote
LGR4GM Posted November 25, 2016 Author Report Posted November 25, 2016 Goal total over under at 1.5 yet again Quote

LGR4GM Posted November 25, 2016 Author Report Posted November 25, 2016 Sabres getting shutout tonight. It's about time. Quote
darksabre Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 It's about time. Get ready to talk about Black Friday on here for years to come. Quote
bunomatic Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 Highest scoring offence in the universe vs. lowest or second lowest ? Prepare for a shittstorm of epic proportions. That and the fact that Ovi has Vlademir Poutine on his side. This could get fugly. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 An inexplicable win heading our way this evening. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 I think they will score a few tonight. Kane and Samson are coming around, ROR has the rust off from his injury and Fedun will get at least an assist. Quote
inkman Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 An inexplicable win heading our way this evening. It's completely explicable. Goals routinely go off shins, skates, ankles and butts. Any one game can't be predetermined by some sort of scoring differential or offensive prowess. A series perhaps but this is the NHL, where they stifle offense and promote thuggery. Quote
Stoner Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 I believe it's also explicable in that I believe, despite my not having any #stats to back it up, that the road team on the day after Thanksgiving will have an edge. Methinks the home team will be more hungover and fattened up. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 Revision: A mildly surprising win heading our way this evening. Thanksgiving or not, the Caps are better than us in every single conceivable way. And most of them it's not close. Quote
beerme1 Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 If we hold Ovie to one goal we have a chance. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 I think it's just sad that we look at automatic losses in a league where that shouldn't happen Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 If we hold Ovie to one goal we have a chance. A chance at what, only losing by three? Quote
Tondas Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) My prediction is that Ovi scores more goals on that "surprise" off-wing, one-timer on the power play, than the Sabres score in total. And one of these has to get their first of the season today. 1. Risto - Now that he's got a stick that breaks only half the time, he needs to get one. He almost had a few last game. DDB needs to give him the green light to go offensive any time he feels. That's what #1 defensmen do. 2. Grant - I get the defensive and PK time, but it's getting Leino-esque. Any player not named Rob Ray needs to score once every 20 games. For example, Gaustad, Schaller, Cody McCormick. 3. Kane - Because he's a high priced goal scorer, right? inkman Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 Derek grant shouldn't even be warranting a discussion. He was signed as a free agent for the Amerks. He's not a prospect. He's a proven NON-NHL player. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 Caleb Green has some serious pipes. Best anthem singing I've heard in a while. Quote
