someone explain to me why a guy without a stick doesn't sprint back to the bench in that situation.

If you're in the near bench, I think it's a no brainer. Far bench though, idk about that.

It was busted. 

Edit: unless you mean skating to the bench?

The bench, like I get it takes him out of the play for a few seconds, but the net negative of standing around for 2 mins without one has gotta be worse. I've always thought heading to the bench to get one is the right play

Go into PP mode for 5 seconds, it's really quite simple

Sure he did. It was a cross check. What did he think was going to happen?

 

Put it this way:  It's not exactly Lucic-Miller.  And I'll take Ray's word for it when he says there was surprise and contrition on the guy's face.

Can't give the darlings a 5 minute penalty kill.

Okposo is a very good player. If his hands were a tad better, he'd be great.
