inkman Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 He is one big boy. Well you can't teach size or how to make a face puncher a hockey player. Quote
MODO Hockey Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Tonight will be another rough night .. sigh! :D Quote
Huckleberry Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Going out for a drink, might get back in time for the game :p Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 This has all the makings of a blowout. Which means it'll be an upset! Quote
ubkev Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Sabres tweeted out that Larsson is promoted to the top line...again. Let's see how it works out tonight. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Maybe, just maybe, these guys might start scoring a little bit if they had some time to get used to certain linemates? Ya think? Instead of changing lines every half-period? Quote
WanderingEye Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 I think Cal O'Reilly is going to provide the spark this team desperately needs. Quote
Kruppstahl Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 The hope and anticipation of watching Bylsma being humiliated in front of his old team will make tonight's game particularly entertaining. From now on, when the team loses, the fans win. At some point the Bylsma era is going to collapse on itself and the sooner the better. The problem is Pegula probably thinks he's doing a good job. Ever notice that with regard to both football and hockey, Pegula is the least informed big time sports fan you've ever known? Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Oh I can top that #Sabres lines: Kane-Larsson-Okposo Foligno-Reinhart-Gionta Moulson-Cal O'Reilly-Girgensons Carrier-Grant-Schneider Wasn't Larsson saying he thought he was top-6 talent when he came up? I guess he is.... on a team like this. updated roster for tonight :flirt: Maybe, just maybe, these guys might start scoring a little bit if they had some time to get used to certain linemates? Ya think? Instead of changing lines every half-period? It's worked so well for 12-22-82 so far this year, wouldn't you agree? Quote
beerme1 Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Just glad they weren't tempted to call nylander up yet :P I think I'm ready to ogive him a few games to see what he's got now. And perhaps entertain us! Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 updated roster for tonight :flirt: At first glance I thought the buster of sod had posted an upgrade to the lineup tonight. Then I clicked it and sadly found that it was just a suggestion. Bah humbug... Welcome to dysfunction junction. Quote
darksabre Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 That comedian sadly died of a pain killer overdose. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Another one goal night for our boys. Quote
Hawerchuk Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Evacuate? At our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances. "We have analyzed their attack sir, and there is a weakness... Everybody's freaking injured!! Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Bold prediction: we don't score 1 goal. Whether that means we get shut out or get >1, I'll let you decide :p Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 "We have analyzed their attack sir, and there is a weakness... Everybody's freaking injured!! Use the force Luke! Is Kulikov playing?? Quote
DarthEbriate Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 In my opinion, an oddity in the lines and the sending down of Baptiste. When in Rochester, the top line was Schneider - Cal OR - Baptiste. If calling up Scheider and COR for a more experienced lineup, why not leave Baptiste up and let them play together? It was one of the best scoring lines in the AHL. And -- going against Crosby -- is this really the game to break up Foligno - Larsson - Gionta? That trio has stymied everyone they've played this year. It's the rest of the team that worries me. Hmmmm. That said, Let's go, Buffalo! Quote

Thorner Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 I can't even... Larsson with Kane! Sabres tweeted out that Larsson is promoted to the top line...again. Let's see how it works out tonight. I can see why they'd tweet that after it worked soooo well the first time  Quote
ubkev Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 I can see why they'd tweet that after it worked soooo well the first time  I made sure to let them know that I thought they were stupid. Quote
Thorner Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 I made sure to let them know that I thought they were stupid. "Write 'SABRES TWITTER SUCKS' in big letters, so that every time they look into Sabrespace, they will realize that they suck!" Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Larsson with Kane! My enthusiasm for that combination is not enough to overcome what the remainder looks like. That's one fugly lineup. Quote

Yeah, nothing they're doing makes any sense, unless they're trying to lose without making it totally obvious. Quote
