Great to hear this outcome. I'm in Cleveland and you'd think this city never saw snow before. Is Marcus ok?

How much longer is O'Reilly out?

Dammit, sis is on her way to Buffalo with her fam and stopped in Cleveland tonight.  Any chance she makes it out tomorrow?

ROR needs to take shoutout lessons from COR. He'll, the whole team can. That's what can happen when you actually SHOOT in the shootout.

Too many times these guys are getting in too close to the goaltender before taking a shot taking the upper half of the net out of play.

Nilsson has played well. I don't think GMTM feels too bad about letting Chad go.

What GMTM feels bad about is giving up a first round draft pick for the guy who is not as good as Nilsson.

Hope politics don't play into who emerges as the #1.

Like Reinhart tonight.

Totally fine, just a dusting

Good.  Hope CB lets her drive; she's more experienced in snow.  But no way that happens.

That trade will never be a bad move, even if Nilsson emerges as the starter.  It's the right price range for a guy whom you hope to become #1.

Remember when we used to post this?

I think Lehner's problem right now is he's trying to hard.  Nilsson has no expectations.  He plays his game.  Win or lose.... meh, he's only the backup.  Meanwhile Lehner's holding his stick too tight, feeling the pressure.

Anyway, I missed the first period, decided to watch the rest of the game without posting.  At times the Sabres looked dominant against the Pens, which really surprised me.  But late in the game, the Pens reversed that.  Even so, the Sabres had their shots in the 3rd.  OT was fun to watch.  The shootout..... Cal O'Reilly with the winner?  Huh.

Oh, and Foligno.  , Foligno is one tough dude.

Saw the OT, missed the shootout. We looked really good in OT though, Okposo is easily the best FA signing any team had this summer

He's gotta be getting pissed. He has played phenomenal the last few games and has nothing to show for it. He could easily have 4 goals over that period.

Yeah, when the bounces come, he's going to be sitting pretty.

Ladd has what, 2 points in NY as his replacement?

Wow, I knew he was doing bad, but not that bad.

I keep waiting to hear that he's having sports hernia surgery.

This conjures up an image of you in bed, wearing a nightcap. For some reason you and your wife have separate beds like Lucy and Ricky. There's an old rotary phone on the nightstand next to your bed, with a red light that flashes when it rings. It's 3 a.m. and it rings and it flashes and you curse, because you know it's Gibby and you know they're rushing ROR in for sports hernia surgery.

(No, I don't know what's wrong with me. Parents had all the tests done, then gave up.)

Pittsburgh has a lot of skill but I have never seen a bigger group of bi***es on one team.

And they sure know how to cry.  Meanwhile, Foligno took enough abuse to file charges of assault and battery and soldiers on.

You're not that far off.

Except it's a shared bed. Dutch ovens - poor gal.
