Ogre
Sure he did. It was a cross check. What did he think was going to happen? That's the the kind of hit that spawned the boarding call. Right in the numbers.
darksabre
Put it this way: It's not exactly Lucic-Miller. And I'll take Ray's word for it when he says there was surprise and contrition on the guy's face. I've got no use for crocodile tears from NHL players. He could have played that right and instead he just gave Foligno a lazy shot to the lower back. That's the the kind of hit that spawned the boarding call. Right in the numbers. Just lazy and cheap. Go to the boards with the guy like a professional.
Randall Flagg
You know we don't score on the 2 minute PP, and Pittsburgh wins this thing late in regulation. You know it's how it happens. That's how we do things when we aren't quite good yet. This is the game that hurts more than most.
Beer
Is it just me or do they need to change things up on the intermission? I'm tired of hearing Brad May tell me about a heads up play. Get creative for gods sake.

Then, when whoever gets out of the box -- Foligno comes back off the bench and destroys him. Let's go. Kruppstahl
Sabres reaction to the Foligno attempted murder was weak. McCabe was on the ice and he could have jumped in there. Assuming Foligno is OK and comes back, would love to see him settle things up.
Eleven
Sabres reaction to the Foligno attempted murder was weak. McCabe was on the ice and he could have jumped in there. Assuming Foligno is OK and comes back, would love to see him settle things up. Crosby quickly steered McCabe away and you know as well as I do that McCabe can't haul off and punch Crosby. As much as we'd all like to. (EDIT: Not only see it, but actually DO it!) I'd love to see Foligno come back and settle things up, too, but he wasn't too tough on Tuesday night, was he? Wyldnwoody44
Yeah, one guy kinda came in, and letang brushed him off and then we whimpered away.... This team.... There's a lot to not like Crosby quickly steered McCabe away and you know as well as I do that McCabe can't haul off and punch Crosby. As much as we'd all like to. (EDIT: Not only see it, but actually DO it!) I'd love to see Foligno come back and settle things up, too, but he wasn't too tough on Tuesday night, was he? Why can't he, it's hockey dammit.... Is there a rule against it, are you Bylsma's brother?

There's a lot to not like It's 50% Ahl'ers if bogo and kuli were healthy it would be a different response, this was also the line that was hemmed in to their zone forever the previous shift. I don't see this team as the same gutless Sabres as years past.

Randall Flagg
Who hurt you!? I've been reflecting a lot, trying to figure it out. The tank? Bylsma? Murray? Pegula? Likely a combination of those.

You can't put your guy in even more danger by jumping there. You can still settle the score later. Get the bacta tank out there first. Destroy later. Randall Flagg
It seems like Moulson, when he engages in a play, is good for one battle/shot attempt, and if it's blocked or if the puck hops and he has to adjust in any way, it's over.Which is miles better than the nothing he could do at any time last year. It sucks that we're one typical Crosby or Malkin play from a tie game.

Now just find whenever what's-his-name is back in the game for Pitt. Then... rip his arms off. Wookiees are known to do that.
