Wasn't Franson's goal a result of exactly what you a rallying against? A shot sent through a screen, ricocheted off a skate into the corner randomly onto Cody's stick where he shot?

 

He was wide open serendipitously, so it would be nice if an a passing sequence could and should achieve the same results. Watch the Eichel highlights someone posted recently in his ankle thread and how many cross ice passes he scored on just like Franson,s goal.

There are almost no shots from inside the faceoff dots because there is never a player in the slot to take a shot. The system is . The coach is . Jack Eichel will help because he goes wherever he feels like and has the best shot of his draft class.

Ummm...we went from Dan Catenacci, Something Leduc, and Kevin Sundher to Justin Bailey, Nick Baptiste, Linus Ullmark, Cliff Pu, Asplund, Guhle, Hudson Fasching, and that isn't including the 20 year Olds in the lineup. Eichel, Reino and Risto. The pipeline is fine it just needs to marinate.
