pi2000 Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 Kane with the double minor with 7min left and then wraps his arm around Greene to give them the game. Thanks Evander... this team is better without him. Quote
NowDoYouBelieve Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 Sabres stink, really stink, in overtime and in shoot outs. That was a bad call but you have to stop the shot. Worked to hard to lose another close game. I also blame Kane. Nilsson had a better chance of stopping Greene's initial shot than the penalty shot, or probably even the ensuing 4-3 PP if the call went the other way. Quote
Thorner Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 Playing a boring, defensive, New Jersey-style, to get to our OT/shootout loss is Bylsma's specialty. Quote
darksabre Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 That was a horse penalty shot call. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) Thanks Evander... this team is better without him. You don't say. Edited November 12, 2016 by That Aud Smell Quote
NowDoYouBelieve Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 It should be 3 for a win, 2 for OT, 1 SO The current system and your edition both fail to value each game equally. I'm in favor of 3 for a regulation win, 2 for an OT/SO win, 1 for OT/SO loss, 0 for regulation loss. Quote
pi2000 Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 I also blame Kane. Nilsson had a better chance of stopping Greene's initial shot than the penalty shot, or probably even the ensuing 4-3 PP if the call went the other way. If you take your hand off your stick and put both arms around the guy it's an automatic call, the enitre worls knows that. There was no reason for Kane to take his hand off his stick. Quote
Claude Balls Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 NHL is getting almost as painful to watch as the NFL. It really is. Quote
Nitro60 Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 I also blame Kane. Nilsson had a better chance of stopping Greene's initial shot than the penalty shot, or probably even the ensuing 4-3 PP if the call went the other way. I agree Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 This team is scoring at the same pace as the first tank year. Even without Eichel and Ennis, this roster is much more stacked than that tank team. There is no excuse for the lack of scoring. Quote
WildCard Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 NHL is getting almost as painful to watch as the NFL. It really is.I think it's just our team really Quote
Tondas Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 Well, tomorrow night we'll go for a walk right through their turf. Colors on. Rumble if they want to. Warriors-style. Great Warriors reference. "Can you dig it?" Quote
WanderingEye Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 Kane has had a negative impact on the team since returning. I really dislike the guy both on and off the ice. Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) Dan kept putting Kane out there? I guess he figured he had some pep in his step and thought it would be a good time to take advantage of it. Love the hustle; however, it seemed like he was trying to hard to make something happen. Crappy way to lose. By the way, is it the idea that Carrier is to cover for Ennis while he is out? Edited November 12, 2016 by hockeyhound Quote

CallawaySabres Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 I honestly cannot take the boredom at these games any longer. At this point, I would rather lose six five every single game than ever get another Point again in that morgue Quote
Jacque Richard Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) I may disagree with you a lot pi, but you're freakin funny. When does Murray make a change here. One goal a game doesn't cut it. Very disappointed with their production Edited November 12, 2016 by Jacque Richard Quote
Jsixspd Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) 4 minutes of penalties for Kane, and then the backbreaker - the penalty shot. What was Kane thinking? Kane was hugging and clutching that Jersey player like he's some chick at a Buffalo area bar that Kane was harassing.Kane = dumb. They ought to test his IQ against Gorges - see whose is lower. Speaking of Gorges - another game, another 0-0 for goals/assists. He did manage to hurt his team with another penalty though. Edited November 12, 2016 by Jsixspd Quote
ubkev Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 I honestly cannot take the boredom at these games any longer. At this point, I would rather lose six five every single game than ever get another Point again in that morgue I was 1 click away from picking up the Center Ice package for the first time since the last season pre-tank. I'm glad that I didn't. These game are even boring to read on here. I might do the discounted rate later in the season when we get Jack back, but at this point, if we're not playing for the playoffs, I'm not sure I see a point. Quote
Huckleberry Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 Bill Hoppe @BillHoppeNHL 2m 2 minutes ago Ryan O'Reilly re-aggravated his injury and is day-to-day. #Sabres I feel like they are rushing their injured players back to much, really scared for Eichel now. Quote
