skaught Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Why did we get an extra penalty for Boston's 3rd man in? Quote
apuszczalowski Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Because they're not going to make the playoffs.which team? Cause I'm thinking neither will be..... Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 I've watched about five minutes and Sam has looked great. No idea how the score got this way though. I wish we could score four goals. Or one. Third-fewest goals scored in the NHL. Rangers have more than double our goal total, only 11 games in. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Is it even pizza? Or is it Delaware North "pizza"?Sal's pizza. A local chain. Very good at least for the price. Quote
North Buffalo Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) That was a lousy game, Sabres got beaten like a rented mule. Edited November 8, 2016 by North Buffalo Quote

3putt Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 This team is very slow. They have effectively neutered their top line with Moulson. Ennis is useless. I don't know where they go from here. Quote

I don't know where they go from here. Yeah. The Moulson thing isn't cool or fun anymore. He doesn't belong on a good NHL team. I want him and Des sitting when Jack and Kane get back. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 One Buffalo motto. Where Sabres and Bills lose on same nite. You didn't think they could pull off two wins in one day multiple times in a season, did you? which team? Cause I'm thinking neither will be..... At this point, I don't know either. Quote
thewookie1 Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 One Buffalo, ###### by the leagues, the state, and anything and everything else that can find a way too. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 8, 2016 Author Report Posted November 8, 2016 One Buffalo motto. Where Sabres and Bills lose on same nite. It should be a one-score game at the half. 1. Bills line up for a 54 yard field goal with :03 left. 2. Seahawks player goes blatantly offsides AND creams Carpenter, even after whistles blown. 3. Seahawks get 5-yard offside penalty, but NO personal foul for unnecessary roughness/running into the kicker/whatever. 4. Because Carpenter was "injured" (shaken up) on the play and the Bills have no time outs, he is required to sit out for a play. 5. Bills do a quick snap and spike the ball with :01 on the clock. 6. The officials set the ball but DO NOT reset the play clock, which runs out as official backs away. 7. Carpenter kicks a perfect 49-yard field goal. 8. Officials call delay of game, move ball back 5 yards. 9. Bills have to re-kick. 10. Carpenter knuckle-balls it from 54 yards, wide right. This only happens to Buffalo teams, I swear. :death: Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 The game was embarassing. We didn't step up and match the physical play from the big bad Bruins. We also have zero offense. None. One of the major problem is that the defense isn't helping the offense. They have no goals and only 14 assists. Of those assists 8 belong to Risto. McCabe has 3, Franson 3, and Bogo, Nelson, Kulikov (who sucked tonight) and Gorges have NOTHING. NOTHING! In addition, 2 of the 4 lines are really producing nothing of note. Grant, Fasching, Deslauriers also have zero pts. Baptiste has 1 goal and Ennis only 2 pts. It's time for GMTM to do something to shake up this lineup. Quote
matter2003 Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Guess NHL and NFL got together tonight to make sure Buffalo teams got screwed...embarrassingly bad on both fronts Quote
3putt Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 TM isn't going to do anything. He can't in a salary cap world. No one will take Moulson, Ennis or Franson. And they certainly wouldn't return a much better player. This is on DD. He needs to move Moulson down to the 4 th line, Move Samson up. One of the kids needs to replace Ennis. And hope we get a useful Kane back and eventually Jack. I said that a lot of things had to go right for this team to make the playoffs and so far few things have. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 At TDGahhden. What a crappy 2nd. Playing with their heads up their butts Also $11 beers and $10 pizza doesn't make this any better. $110 in beers and $30 in pizza does. Quote
North Buffalo Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Young boys need to learn to play with big boys, Marchand is playing better than I have ever seen him. Sam needs to get tougher, Gio slow at beginning of season, Carrier, Baptiste, Bailey and Fasching have a lot of growing up to do before Sabres are going anywhere. Sabres need more skill up front. Their speed guys have either no skill or no size and the skill guys dont have enough spped except ROR, OKposo and Eichel. Lot of puzzle pieces not fitting together, is this again GMTM or DD, or a combo of both? Quote
Sabel79 Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Looks like falling asleep in the recliner watching cartoons with my daughter was the correct (if accidental) decision last night... On to the next one, I suppose. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 8, 2016 Author Report Posted November 8, 2016 Without Jack, they're basically a .500-ish team. It's that simple. If they play a solid, flawless game, they win. However, you can't expect any team, especially one with as many young and improvised pieces as this one, to play flawlessly every game. I was disappointed they lost, but over the course of a season.... meh. Just hang in there until jack returns. Quote
nfreeman Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Ennis played 7:33 last night and was replaced by Carrier on Reino's line in the 2nd period (although not sure how long that lasted). Zemgus played 12:49. It's time to blow up that line. Quote
