Ottosmagic13 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 I'll never understand why blood is the determining factor in a high stick penalty... Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Damn, sitting on a plan back to good ol Buffalo, appears I'm missing the boys picking it up Quote

Taro T Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 LOL. Any other Sabre you guys want me to talk bad about? The funny thing is, I was pretty much at the same place you were. Really thought heading into this season that McCabe would take a step back & Reinhart would take a step forward. Though McCabe has had the occasional like the 1st FLA goal, he's handled the added responsibility really well. Maybe this goal is what Sam needed to get going & when all is said & done he'll have taken that step forward rather than suffering the sophomore slump. Quote
BagBoy Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 I'll never understand why blood is the determining factor in a high stick penalty... It's not so much blood as bleeding. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 My god, did you guys see that little play ROR made to get the puck out of a tight area? with his foot? Daaaaaaamn Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 I'll never understand why blood is the determining factor in a high stick penalty...kind of Mideavil isn't it! Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 How did Franson play tonight? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Okposo really knows how to find shin pads, innit? Quote
darksabre Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 A 4 minute PK is kinda nice if you're a team with a good PK. Up with a lead in the 3rd and you get 4 whole minutes to just run clock off icing the puck. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Good work by Zemus and Grant. Quote
Neo Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 I'm having flashbacks to Daniel Alfredsson ... and back in the day with a four minute power play or a one goal lead in the waning moments. Or a Spezza .... Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 There are forcefields around opposition empty nets. I'm convinced. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Oh my god  There are forcefields around opposition empty nets. I'm convinced. Makes so much more sense than the statistical anomalies we've been seeing. Quote
Neo Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) Can you call a timeout after an icing if you're The ICEING team? Edited November 6, 2016 by Neo Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 6 seconds! Just do this! Wish Grant could be on the ice Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Can you call a timeout after an icing? Yep. Well, we missed about 40 empty nets, then did empty net practice. Gionta hit the post. No icing, which is better. One more practice should do it. Get on it Disco! Quote
Eleven Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 I was just about to write, well, if icing is smart there, why not the TO? Good job, DD. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 6, 2016 Author Report Posted November 6, 2016 This is the game I expected. Not pretty, but the Sabres got the W. Quote
