darksabre Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Take two periods off and still get a win. Thanks Robin. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 This is the game I expected. Not pretty, but the Sabres got the W. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! Quote
MODO Hockey Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Robin LehnerRileyThese 2 was huge this win, thank god. All points counts no matter what, this win feels damn nice! Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) Who took Bogo's minutes? How did Franson play tonight? Edited November 6, 2016 by hockeyhound Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 This game is all Lehner. We should have been down 4-0 going into the third. He kept us in it until we woke up. Probably should have beat Toronto, probably should have lost this one. It evens out. Grant, Franson, and ROR made that PK a breeze. Get these guys another NHL body on defense, Timmy. Or travel back in time and do it in July. This team can rack up wins without Jack, and need to be doing it as much as possible. Gionta played a very good game. Samson didn't until his goal. Hope that gets him started. Quote
bunomatic Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 LEHNER ! yes nice win and a couple save of the spectacular variety. Way to hang in there boys. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 6, 2016 Author Report Posted November 6, 2016 Who took Bogo's minutes? Kuli. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Who took Bogo's minutes?Nelson is getting more comfortable out there Quote
CallawaySabres Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Had to have those 2 points Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Nelson is getting more comfortable out there From what I saw, I thought he actually played well tonight. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 6, 2016 Author Report Posted November 6, 2016 Samson didn't until his goal. Hope that gets him started. He worked hard for that goal and earned it. Proud of my boy. Quote
Ogre Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Nelson is getting more comfortable out there He had a taste of Blue Cross Arena. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 6, 2016 Author Report Posted November 6, 2016 Nelson is getting more comfortable out there True, but I think Kulikov was getting the extra minutes. Quote
Tondas Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Take two periods off and still get a win. Thanks Robin. Yep, the Sens have to feel like the Sabres did against the Laffs. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 6, 2016 Author Report Posted November 6, 2016 From what I saw, I thought he actually played well tonight. He wasn't out of place. Quote
sodbuster Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 I'm at a birthday party without a tv. Sounds like I missed a good one. Quote
3putt Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Carrier had a nice debut. He was noticeable in limited minutes. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 True, but I think Kulikov was getting the extra minutes. And deservably so, he is an excellent player. He makes us much better. Great trade, especially if he resigns with us Quote
Ogre Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Makes me feel good to see the Amerks whoop the Sens 4-1. Quote
3putt Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 From what I saw, I thought he actually played well tonight. A few gaffes, but he is serviceable on the bottom pair. Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) I wasn't able to catch the first two periods and only part of the 3rd due to broadcast issues; as a result, I didn't get to see how well the Sabres adjusted to Bogo being gone. Does it look like Nelson is here to stay for a while? I thought Franson would get more mins. Edited November 6, 2016 by hockeyhound Quote
