3putt Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Foligno can go in any reasonable trade scenario. He simply has no hockey sense Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 I think he did save the goal with that penalty, though. That scoring chance never had to happen in the first place, though. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Does anybody in MTS center know how to finish a hockey game? Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Beer league reffing right there. Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Foligno did exactly what he should have. Ehlers had a tap in. Quote
woods-racer Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Love the late game drama. Cause just closing a team out is no fun for us fans. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Foligno... if you want the empty net, drive forward another few strides. Or just go for broke and drive to their net. Although... nice tackle there to prevent the tap-in. c'mon! You can't ice the short-handed clear. Sheesh. Should've shot at the net, clearly. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Lehner was dominant today. Hopefully it's the first of many. Quote
darksabre Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 I don't want any excuses from the Sabres for the rest of the year. Two extremely hard fought wins on back to back nights. They have the ability. They need to do it every game. Quote
3putt Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Foligno did exactly what he should have. Ehlers had a tap in. We wouldn't be in our zone if he didn't ice it. He gets no credit for taking a penalty on a chance he created Quote
Eleven Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 The team that I care more about won. And looked ok doing it, too. Good day. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Why does our +/- stink? Because we can't hit an open net when on the PK and we can't skate it up ice when the net is empty. +1 opportunities abounded. Silly stat. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Where was Stafford? He took the day off to enjoy one of his favorite past times. Sleeping during Sabres games. Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Did Reinhart play? He was invisible for the most part. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 I don't want any excuses from the Sabres for the rest of the year. Two extremely hard fought wins on back to back nights. They have the ability. They need to do it every game.Florida looked awful and the Jets played hard despite their D-men being short-staffed. But I still agree. If they play like that every night, this should be a playoff team. Quote
bunomatic Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 The team played like a well oiled machine for large parts of that game. Does Bylsma get some of the love for the turnaround these last couple games. The difference in their play has been undeniable. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Alright. Off to the Packers game. Enjoy the victory! Celebrate as would an Ewok. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Did Reinhart play? He was invisible for the most part.Reinhart was not very good. He and Ennis really need Kane to create some space for them. Girgensons looks like a 3rd/4th line tweener so far this year. Quote
woods-racer Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Foligno did exactly what he should have. Ehlers had a tap in. Yes. Clearing the crease when in a pinch is great hockey sense. Well worth a penalty. Quote
GrassValleyGreg Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 To the overwhelming number of reactionary posters who draw conclusions from 4 of 82 games, we are now tied for the wild card. How does that fit into your doomsday prognostications? Quote
Tondas Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 The team that I care more about won. And looked ok doing it, too. Good day. Me too. Been a fan since 1970. Can't say the same about the other team. Quote
bunomatic Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Yes. Clearing the crease when in a pinch is great hockey sense. Well worth a penalty. Yeah I thought so. Stopped a goal. Quote
