Doohicksie Posted October 29, 2016 Author Report Posted October 29, 2016 One difference today compared to a lot of their other games: They don't look like they're hanging on at the end of the period. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 I'd really love to not get outshot by 400% again this third period with a lead. Quote
Tondas Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) Foligno's best game so far. Hearing his name a lot. Edited October 29, 2016 by Tondas Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Kulikov is so much better than Pysyk it's not even remotely close. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 The Panthers woke up that period and looked better. But I'd argue so did we. Good period. Quote
Eleven Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 I'd really love to not get outshot by 400% again this third period with a lead. Hush. Quote
Tondas Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) Now THAT is a hip check. For those of us old enough to see live and remember, that hip check was Mike Robitaille-esque. Edited October 29, 2016 by Tondas Quote

darksabre Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 For those of us old enough to see live and remember, that hip check was Mike Robitaille-esqe. I wish I was old enough. But I love me a good hip check. There was bad one a few weeks ago someone laid that everyone was so very excited about but it wasn't even a hip check. It was clipping. That Kuli hit though. That's a hip check. Quote
Tondas Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 That Kuli hit though. That's a hip check. And good on the Panthers for not seeking retribution for a good, clean, old-time hockey hit. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Hey, I'm at the game! Sad to see big blocks of empty seats in the upper corners. Quote
Thorner Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 That carry in by Kulikov... That was the first time I've seen a Sabres D-man do that in over a year. I get that he probably appears better than he is, to me eye, because we've lacked quality on the left side, but Kulikov darn sure is a good defenceman. I think it would be poor asset management to lose a guy who will have fit in by year's end, and who is already becoming a valuable part of our team, specifically because of our lack of depth on D. Murray needs to sign him. Quote
Neo Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 For those of us old enough to see live and remember, that hip check was Mike Robitaille-esque. Yes, sir ... Quote
Tondas Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 We'll see if the Sabres have learned from the Philly game. Quote
Eleven Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) Hey, I'm at the game! Sad to see big blocks of empty seats in the upper corners. You need to be a better Trumpeter. Proper phrasing: So many empty seats in the corners at the Key Bank Center. SAD! Edited October 29, 2016 by Eleven Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 29, 2016 Author Report Posted October 29, 2016 Kulikov's best game as a Sabre so far? Meanwhile, Pysyk has been invisible. Quote
Tondas Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Kulikov's best game as a Sabre so far? Meanwhile, Pysyk has been invisible. Invisible, just like the vowels in his last name. Quote
Eleven Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Invisible, just like the vowels in his last name. Ok, he's not Martin Frk, at least. Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 29, 2016 Author Report Posted October 29, 2016 Girgensons needs to learn how to offense again. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Wow, I totally forgot this is where Pysyk went. Definitely haven't noticed him Girgensons needs to learn how to offense again. That is about what I would look like getting a quick pass in the slot. Surprised to see it from an NHLer. Quote
Radar Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) Girgensons needs to learn how to offense again. He is slow. To be honest he has been not that good so far this season. If they are thinking about moving him his value has gone down I would think. Edited October 29, 2016 by Radar Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Risto is quietly tied for 5th in defenseman scoring. Quote
Thorner Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 So Reinhart is back on RW for today's game, eh? Didn't give him much time at center.. Quote
